The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for detecting and avoiding cavitation in turbomachines, their components and their installations.
In DD-PS 226937 a solution for monitoring and control and avoidance of malfunction by cavitation is made known, which is based on a comparison of partly calculated from theoretical sizes or exact measurements NPSH value of the pump set (NPSH "() with the in a certain operating state, theoretically calculated NPSH value of the executed plant (NPSH, 0 , h ) vornehmon by a microcomputer complex vornehmon.
This guarantees that one of the basic conditions for a trouble-free aggregate operation NPSH volh N NPSH "(based on prerequisites to be fulfilled is realized.) The disadvantage of this solution is the necessary detection of a larger number of measured variables and their processing with stored theoretical constants.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The object of the invention is, while avoiding the methods of known methods, to realize the detection of the onset of cavitation states by simple means.
Darlegung des Wesens der ErfindungExplanation of the essence of the invention
It is an object of the invention to diagnose and avoid cavitation conditions and to estimate the remaining service life of endangered components.
According to the invention the Aufgahe is achieved in that via a special sound waveguide, installed at one or more significant points of the turbomachine and / or their system, a measured variable which is the pulse rate is determined up to a predetermined threshold and electronically registered in the other Sequence is acted upon manipulated variables, by their regulation cavitation is avoided.
A further feature of the invention is that an electronic further processing of the pulses takes place in such a way that an amplitude frequency distribution is determined and an amplitude sum value is determined that is significant for the components of the turbomachine or their installation which are endangered by cavitation.
Another Erfindungsmerkrnal consists in that a sound wave guide includes a piezoelectric sensor, which is connected to a component i jt, on the underside of a collar bolt is screwed, which is sealed by means sealed by an externally threaded sleeve, in a with the pipe wall of the turbomachine or system firmly screwed with female threaded pipe socket is screwed, wherein the flat surface of the collar bolt flush with the inside of the pipe wall of the turbomachine or plant.
The invention has the advantage over the prior art that the physical appearance is used for cavitation detection. This is recorded exclusively via current measurement data, which reflects the respective operating state.
Other theoretical, the state of the system or the turbomachine or the fluid medium characterizing theoretical data are not mandatory for the detection.
Furthermore, the solution according to the invention is safer, since even with changes in the operating regime of a general nature, the detection and the ingestion can take place on the unit or system. The solution is also more economical, because with little effort, in principle, by one or two measuring points, the detection of the operating condition can be performed.

Fig. 2: shows the special sound waveguide with which the cavitation pulses of the turbomachine, their components and their system are detected. In this case, the sensor is coupled to the impulse-containing medium via the sound waveguide, The sound waveguide consists of a component 2 being provided below a piezoelectric sensor 1, on the underside of which a bolt 3 with collar 4 is screwed in. The bolt 3 is vibroacoustically through Rubber flat seals 5 and 6 round rings 6 and 6 round rings from an externally threaded sleeve 7 disconnected to isolate machine and system vibrations from the useful signal. The sleeve 7 has a collar 8 and a hexagon 9 and is screwed into an internally threaded pipe socket 10. Der Pipe socket 10 is fixedly connected to the pipe wall 11 of the turbomachine or system so that the sound waveguide is height-adjustable and it is guaranteed that its lower planar surface 12 is flush with the inside of the pipe wall 11 of the turbomachine or plant, so as not to disturb the flow of the pulsed medium to create.
