Charakteristik der bekannten technischen LösungenCharacteristic of the known technical solutions
To register the flow rates of water meters various circuits are known to derive from the revolutions of a pointer contactless equivalent electronic pulses. This is mainly done according to the principle of electromagnetic induction. In DE-OS 2619028 a device is described, wherein it is necessary to attach a permanent magnet on a shaft, which originally carried a pointer for indicating the flow rate, which, in conjunction with a also to be attached to a suitable location reed switch, the Pulse generation is used.
Furthermore, various circuit arrangements for detecting the position of objects by means of optoelectronic reflex light barriers are known. In DD-PS 237409 a reflex light barrier with large and variable sensitivity is proposed, which, however, for the present application does not provide the revolutions of the pointer equivalent pulses. The circuit arrangements for light barriers described in DD-PS 128060 and DE-OS 3411996 do not meet the requirements of a mains independent for months uninterrupted pulse generation.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The aim of the invention is to derive by means of a simple circuit arrangement of existing water meters of various types low-power and non-contact for months, network-independent and without maintenance of the turns of a pointer equivalent electronic pulses.
The object of the invention is to develop a circuit arrangement for pulse detection on a water meter, which is able to derive equivalent electronic impulses from the revolutions of the pointer of a water meter contactless and low-power.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that the output of a variable clock generator is connected to the input of a monostable multivibrator whose output is connected to an optoelectronic transmitter diode and the output of a phototransistor is connected via a comparator to a retriggerable monoflop.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
According to the maximum possible speed of the water meter is formed by the variable clock generator 1, the minimum necessary sampling frequency.
The monostable flip-flop 2 derives from the basic clock the minimum required pulse width for driving the transmitter diode 3, from which is determined substantially by the maximum rise time of the phototransistor 4 (about 1-IOus).
The phototransistor receives the reflected signal and the downstream comparator 5 forms according to the position of the pointer pulses that drive the retriggerable monoflop 6. The hold time of the monoflop is about 1.5 times the period of the basic clock. If a new impulse arises within this time, the output of the monoflop remains active until the holding time expires.
At a sampling frequency of 100 Hz and a transmission pulse width of 10 μs, a transmission duration of 1 ms per second results, so that the power consumption can be reduced to Viooo compared to a continuous operation of the transmitter diode.
