Verfahren zum thermischen Verbinden von Faden- bzw. Bandenden aus synthetischen schmelzbaren Materialien mittels fokusierten Licht- oder Waermestrahlen, zur Anwendung in der Verpackungstechnik, beim Handhaben duenner oder fadenfoermiger Werkstoffe und insbesondere im Elektromaschinenbau bei mit Bandagen verfestigten Wickelkoepfen dynamoelektrischer Maschinen, wobei diese auf die mittels eines Luftsaugstromes ausgerichteten Faden- bzw. Bandenden in einem vom Material bestimmten Abstand vom Grundkoerper treffen, eine bestimmte Zeit einwirken und die Faden- bzw. Bandenden erweichen bzw. ueberschuessiges Faden- bzw. Bandmaterial abschmelzen, das durch den Luftsaugstrom abtransportiert wird und auch die verbleibenden kurzen Faden- bzw. Bandenden anschmelzen, die sich materialbedingt zum Grundkoerper hin zusammenziehen und eine bzw. mehrere Schmelzperlen bilden die nach dem Aushaerten die am Grundkoerper nunmehr anliegende unloesbare Verbindung der Faden- bzw.
