The method according to item 1, characterized in that the triglyceride ester in an amount of 0.5-10% and the silicone oil of 0.5-10%, based on the binder are included.
The invention relates to a magnetic carrier for the storage of audio and video signals as well as data in digital and analog form, consisting of a non-magnetic support and a magnetizable layer thereon, in which finely divided magnetic pigments are present in binders.
In the operating process of the magnetic tapes, the phenomenon of friction occurs. If the contact is moved, that is, the belt is running at a constant speed, the so-called sliding friction force is effective. Specifically, if the relative velocity of tape and magnetic head mirror is zero, so the contact is not moved, the static friction force is effective. The running behavior of the Mangetbänder is determined by these frictional forces. The friction depends i.a. of the structure, to which the roughness is to be expected, the material properties of the two contacting surfaces, the force with which the band is pressed against its contact partner, the residence time of the band at the respective contact partner and also the temperature. As a result, it is necessary for the magnetic tape-shaped recording medium to have a low friction coefficient as well as balanced and stable running properties in terms of storage and climatic resistance, wear resistance and low abrasion ensure. However, when the magnetic tape is running, an alternating sticking and slipping is sometimes observed at the contact point between the magnetic plating layer and the magnetic heads, tape guides or pinch rollers. This leads to an uneven movement caused by locally different coefficients of sliding friction, known in the art as a "stick-slip" effect. As this shifting sticking and slipping gradually increases, longitudinal vibration of the belt occurs. Magnetic tape vibration is primarily responsible for the phenomenon known as squeaking As magnetic media has been extended to high recording densities, magnetic tapes, such as audio cassette tapes, have been developed for use at high copy speeds (eg 150 cm / s) and for high speed recording low running speeds (eg 4.75 cm / s) or frequently thinner tapes (with a thickness of 6 to 18 μ, ητι) are used to ensure stable running properties in these magnetic tapes is conventionally in the magnetic coating material in addition to aBinder used a lubricant. A variety of lubricants have been proposed for use in magnetic tapes, of which, for example, as a liquid or pasty lubricant preferably oleic acid, silicone oils, higher hydrocarbons (DE-OS 1298560) or even in which a part of the hydrogen atoms substituted by fluorine or chlorine and fluorine were used. Furthermore, propylene diamines, acetates (DE-OS 1 278514) and mixtures of mineral oils and fatty acid amides or mixtures of silicone oil and fluorine-containing silicones are used. Also, solid organic lubricants, such as higher monoalcohols, stearic acid, fatty acid amides according to DE-OS 1232206 metal salts of long-chain fatty acids or higher fatty acid esters (DE-OS 1 221282) and PTFE powder (DE-OS 1 269660) or inorganic solids with lubricating properties, eg. B. molybdenum disulfide according to DE-OS 1083561, tungsten disulfide according to DE-OS 1 297671, graphite or talcum are known. However, none of these lubricants can fully impart sufficient lubricity to the magnetic tape. In particular, these lubricants are not able to reduce the friction between the belt and guide elements so that stable running properties in the application of the tape at high tape head speeds and at low
Run speeds provide a uniform tape transport and prevent squeaking of the tape in an environment where high temperatures and high humidities prevail, ie, for example, temperatures of 35 0 C to 60 0 C and relative humidities of 70-95%. These environmental conditions would correspond to a tropical climate of 35 ° C. and 95% relative humidity. DD-WP 228918 describes the use of a triglyceride ester of higher fatty acids with a cis-docos-13-enoic acid content of 20-40% in the ester mixture. As a result, favorable running properties have already been achieved, which, however, can be further improved especially in environments with high temperatures and / or high air humidity.
The object of the present invention is to provide a magnetogram carrier which is free of said squeaking phenomena while maintaining balanced and stable running characteristics even in high temperature and / or humidity environments.
The object was surprisingly achieved in that in the preparation of a Magnetogrammträgers as a lubricant, a mixture of a triglyceride ester of higher fatty acids containing cis-docos-13-enoic acid of 20-40% in the ester mixture and a silicone oil of the general formula

eingesetzt wird. Derauf diese Art hergestellte Magnetogrammträger zeichnet sich durch ausgezeichnetes Gleitverhalten und keinerlei Vibrationserscheinungen aus.is used. The magnetogram carrier produced in this way is characterized by excellent sliding behavior and no vibration phenomena.
The use of silicone oils as lubricants in Magnetogrammträgern is favorable due to the high heat and cold and chemical resistance. However, the good running properties initially achieved with the sole use of silicone oils are quickly nullified due to the incompatibility of the silicone oil with the binder and the associated migration of the lubricant to the strip surface. By combining a triglyceride ester of higher fatty acids containing 20-40% of cis-docos-13-enoic acid in the ester mixture and a silicone oil, these disadvantages are eliminated and magnetogram carriers having improved running properties are obtained.
Zweckmäßigerweise beträgt der Anteil des Siliconöls 0,5-10 Gew.-%, der Anteil des Triglyzeridesters 0,5-10 Gew.-%.Conveniently, the proportion of silicone oil is 0.5-10 wt .-%, the proportion of triglyceride 0.5-10 wt .-%.
Magnetic pigments which can be used are all magnetizable substances which can be used for magnetogram carriers, such as 7-Fe 2 O 3 , CrO 2 , Co-doped 7-Fe 2 O 3 , barium ferrite or metal powder.
As binders for the magnetic pigment are mainly polymeric binder mixtures are used, wherein high molecular weight polyester urethanes are preferably used together with hydroxyl-containing copolymers as binder components.
