The invention relates to a material measure in which the nominal dimension I 0 S represented by the distance between two end faces is 500 mm. The end or measuring surfaces may be flat, cylindrical or spherical, so that both the known parallel, cylindrical and Kegelendmaße and so-called puncture dimensions can be performed according to the invention. The application of the invention is particularly suitable for the embodiment of lengths over 1000 mm under production conditions, for. As in the setting of measuring instruments, devices and machines in non-air conditioned production halls.
The specified final dimensions are known in various embodiments, with the gauge blocks are practically the most important industrial measuring standards. The largest lengths commercially available, manufactured from one piece final dimensions are 3000mm, in exceptional cases 4000mm; Preferably, such final dimensions are carried out in lengths of a maximum of 1000mm. For the representation of larger lengths, they are assembled by means of special connecting pieces. For this purpose, gauge blocks with a rectangular cross-section have bores in the vicinity of the two end faces in which so-called gauge blocks intervene, which in turn firmly connect the adjacent gauge blocks. Due to the additional inclusion of standardized measuring pieces and / or small final dimensions at one or both ends of the final dimension combination, a continuous material measure of high accuracy, theoretically up to about 10,000 mm, is made possible. Practically to realize, however, are only combinations up to 6000 mm, because beyond the high requirements for flatness of the support surface and temperature stability within the entire combination can not be met. The same applies to two rarer parallel gauges with a circular cross-section. These measuring graduations are generally made of steel tube and have hardened end pieces. By combining with gauge blocks, they can also be joined together for longer lengths.
The material used for the final dimensions must be dimensionally stable, wear-resistant and generally well polishable. For larger gauge blocks, preference is given to using alloyed steel, for example 100 Cr 6 ultrapure, with a length-temperature coefficient a = (11 ± 1) × 10 -8 K -1 and a hardness S800 HV 30 (= 8000 N / mm 2 ). Diedamit given mass of the final dimensions leads especially for lengths over 1000mm to considerable measuring and handling technical problems (deflection of the final gauge, position of the measuring surfaces, alignment of Kombinatjon). With respect to the length-temperature coefficient is based on the known requirement that in order to minimize the temperature error DUT and meter should have the same α value as possible. Therefore, the use of other suitable materials, such as tungsten carbide carbides with α = 5 · 10 " 6 K" 1 or chromium carbide with α = 3 · 10 " 6 K" 1 , only for small lengths (according to TGL RGW 720-77 to I 0 = 10 or 100 mm). In the same aspect, CH-PS 544286 proposes to produce steel gauges generally and relatively thin ceramic or cermet layers of one or more carbides, nitrides and / or borides of metals from Groups 3 to 6 of the Periodic Table only on the end surfaces the elements to improve the wear resistance apply.
The opposite is that the generally desired temperature compensation between the object to be measured and meter in the production halls of large machinery u.a. practically not achieved. Rather, when measuring large lengths, the errors due to temperature influence in the testing of steel components can be reduced by up to 20% by a length-temperature coefficient α = 0 of the material measure (Neumann, H .: Studies on the influence of temperature on the measurement error when measuring large Lengths under production conditions Dissertation, HfV Dresden, 1981). It is known to use these and other reserves to increase accuracy through the targeted use of carbon and aramid fiber reinforced plastic (Kaufmann, S .: Lauck, L .: Use of high performance fiber reinforced plastic to minimize errors in measuring long lengths.) Feingerätetechnik, Berlin 32 (1983) 10, p.460-464). Thus, KFP structures for rigid (eg DD-WP 135835) and flexible (for example DE-OS 2950580, DD-WP G 01 B / 2473782) hand-held measuring devices have been proposed and brought into practical use.
The use of carbon and / or aramid fibers for highly accurate measuring graduations, especially in those in which the measure is represented by the distance between two wear-resistant end surfaces highest surface quality, has not been done. The reason for this is, inter alia, that this material does not correspond to the complex of property requirements to be made due to its specific and pronounced property anisotropy per se.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The aim of the invention is to propose a final gauge for long lengths that is characterized regardless of the environmental conditions by a high dimensional stability and ease of handling.
The object of the invention is to provide a final gauge for long lengths with high inherent rigidity, a length-temperature coefficient = (0 ± 1) × 10 -6 K -1 and sufficient robustness with comparatively low mass It consists of a basic body of carbon fiber and / or aramid fiber reinforced plastic, which has short metallic end pieces at both ends, which have a hardness = 1 500HV at the coated measuring surfaces In addition to the representation of the end or measuring surfaces, the adapters are used to connect the final dimensions to a combination or special accessories, in particular for conventional enlargement of the measuring range or measuring range, in the simplest case bores are provided is designed so that its length-temperature coefficient ger ing is negative and preferably within the limits α = -0.1 ...- 0.9 · 10 " 6 K" 1 moves. In the preferred Spezialfaserverbundenen with high modulus carbon asern the fibers are arranged with a volume fraction of φ = 30%, preferably φ = 50 ... 60%, in an orientation angle θ = 0 ... 15 °. The material used for the end pieces is primarily an iron-nickel alloy with 36% nickel content, known as Invar or Aurodil 36 used. The end pieces are coated at least at the measuring surfaces with a thin layer of metal carbide or nitride; Preferably, this protective layer of titanium nitride in a thickness of 2 ... 3μΓΠ. The end pieces can also be made of steel, also coated, and of hard metals with α = 5 10 " 6 K" 1 exist. The maximum length of the end pieces is 0.15 I 0 compared to the nominal size of Invar, 0.025 · I 0 for steel and 0.05 · I 0 for carbide metal.
The advantage of the gauge according to the invention is in addition to the high dimensional stability at virtually all ambient temperatures and consequently higher reliability of the measurement also in that the measurements immediately, and not only after the generally required temperature compensation between material measure and test specimen (usual: 1.5 ... 4h !). In addition, these gauges are much lighter; In the case of comparable strengths to steel, such final dimensions of up to at least 5000 mm can easily be produced from one piece with a simultaneous reduction in mass of up to 50%.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment; Fig. 1 shows schematically the structure of a gauge gauge.
The main body 1 is designed as a thin-walled tube, which was produced by the winding process. The high modulus carbon fibers 2 used here are embedded in a plastic matrix of epoxy resin. The laminate is two-layered and symmetrically oriented and is characterized by a high packing density of the fibers. The volume fraction of the fibers in the entire composite is about 60%; their orientation angle is ± 5 °. The thermoset matrix used is characterized by favorable adhesion and low shrinkage properties and allows the highest possible fiber utilization. The length-temperature coefficient thus moves in the range of -0.3 ... -0.9 · 10-β Κ-ι. The rotationally symmetrical, glued into the body 1 end pieces 3 are made of Invar (Aurodil 36). They are designed so that they serve as a support when placing the gauge block on flat surfaces; the measuring surface is raised. The measuring and possible support and contact surfaces of the end pieces 3 are provided with a 5μΓΠ thick protective layer 4 of titanium halide. The length of the end pieces 3 is chosen as small as possible; the "reserve" up to 0.15 · I 0 is used with 50% for a measurement or measuring range extension, which is usually made with steel or with gauges gauge gauge., For the inclusion of corresponding adapters in the end pieces through holes brought in.
