Abstract
Das Stau- und Mischelement wird zum Mischen und Dispergieren von Zusatzstoffen bei der Aufbereitung von Kunststoffen in Doppelschneckenextrudern mit kaemmenden Schneckenwellen angewendet. Das Ziel und die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht darin, mit geringem technischem Aufwand beim Einmischen von Zusatzstoffen, beispielsweise Farbpigmenten, durch zusaetzliche intensive Scherung beim Dispergieren und Mischen die stoffliche Homogenitaet der Masse zu verbessern und eine gute Extrudatqualitaet zu gewaehrleisten. Erfindungsgemaess wird die Aufgabe dadurch geloest, dass in Extrusionsrichtung der foerderaktiven Zone der Schneckenbuchsen auf den Schaftwellen nachfolgend eine Intensivscherzone angeordnet ist. Diese Scherzone wird aus einer Kobination von einem Nocken-Mischelementepaar und einem im kaemmenden Eingriff stehenden Scheiben-Ringnuten-Stauelementepaar gebildet. Der Intensivscherzone nachgeordnet ist eine Zone mit einer Kombination von glatten Stau- und Mischelementepaaren. Durch diesen Masseaustausch erfolgt vor allem eine Längsmischung, die die Schmelze thermisch und stofflich vergleichmäßigt.
