The invention includes a process for the adsorptive drying of chlorinated hydrocarbons in the boiling range 40 to 150 degrees C with zeolitic molecular sieves according to the temperature change principle. In the first part of a step, a spooling with a spooling gas at ambient temperature, in the second part of a spooling with a spooling gas heating the adsorbent bed to 75-90 degrees C at a temperature rise rate of 1 , 0 to 1.5 degrees / min. takes place, wherein all remaining adhering to the adsorbent residues of chlorinated hydrocarbon are removed. In the third sub-step, with spueling with a sputtering gas, the adsorbent bed is heated to 220 to 270 degrees C at a temperature rise rate of 0.8 to 1.25 degrees / min., Whereby desorption of the adsorbed water occurs. Nitrogen is preferably used as the sparging gas. It has turned out to be particularly economical if sub-steps 1 and 2 of the rinsing or desorption phase are carried out in a time ratio of 1: 4 or higher, and in the second sub-step an average decoupling speed between 1.8 and 2.0 x 10 high-minus 2 kg chlorinated hydrocarbon / kg sparge gas x min. Is maintained.

In the first substep, rinsing with a purge gas, preferably nitrogen, is carried out in countercurrent to the adsorption direction without heat being supplied in the process. The duration of this partial step, in which part of the chlorohydrocarbons in the intermediate grain volume and the secondary pore structure of the zeolitic molecular sieve is removed, should not exceed 25 % of the time of the second partial step. The amount of detergent in the time unit expediently corresponds to the amount of detergent per unit time in the second partial step ,
In the second part of the step, the purge with a purge gas, preferably nitrogen, countercurrent to Adsorptionsrichtung with a temperature increase of the adsorbent bed to 75 to 9O 0 C, a temperature rise rate of 1.0 to 1.5 degrees / min, and an average outflow velocity

Be especially economical when an average outflow velocity of 1.8 x .10 ~ 2 kg to 2.0 · Ί0 ~ 2 kg chlorinated hydrocarbon / kg purge gas * Mn * is maintained was found. In this case, a complete removal of the chlorinated hydrocarbons from the adsorbent layer is achieved with a mean detergent consumption and in such a period of time, the calculated cyclic; Process not endangered. Although detergent consumption or rinsing time could still be reduced, the effectiveness of the process, which is in the largest Abströmgesehgeschwindigkeit, but then would not exist because with increasing. Amount of detergent per unit time the purging time is not reduced until the complete removal of the chlorinated hydrocarbons alike. An excessively high amount of detergent, although shorter

Rinsing time is not only disadvantageous in the economic sense, but would also complicate the collection of the removed from the adsorbent bed chlorinated hydrocarbons · A very low detergent flow rate would be beneficial in this case, but then the rinsing steps were more time than in the procedural sequence for making available claim.
In the third sub-step of the rinsing or desorption after complete removal of the chlorinated hydrocarbons from the adsorbent bed begins the desorption of adsorbed in the adsorption water by heating the adsorbent bed to 220 to 270 0 C with a desorption gas, preferably nitrogen, in the G-egenstrom. flows, is made. The temperature rise rate should be 0.8 to t, 25 G-rad / min.
