Anwendungsgebiet der Erfindung " Field of application of the invention "
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of thixotropic polyol components which are suitable for the preparation of polyurethanes and which are used, for example, for coating and bonding in a non-horizontal position. These thixotropic polyol components and the polyurethanes prepared therefrom are used when, for example, castings after casting have changed in their spatial position before reaching the gel state, or when encapsulated or glued parts have yet to be changed or adjusted later in their position.
Den Thixotropiermitteln haften sehr leicht größere Mengen Peuch-It is known that the most common method of preparing thixotropic polyol components is by blending so-called thixotropic agents into the liquid polyol component. As the thixotropic agent, a variety of various pesticides are known, such as "black", wet and fumed silicas, precipitated calcium carbonate, ground asbestos fibers, talc, montmorillonites, hydrogenated castor oil, metal stearates. It is characteristic of these thixotropic agents that the particles have a high degree of dispersion, and a large surface area a low bulk density. This results in considerable disadvantages in the production of thixotropic polyol components. The thixotropic agents are very likely to adhere to larger amounts of

Die so hergestellten Dispersionen sind vienig oder nicht thixotrop,, .activity, which is particularly troublesome in the production of compact polyurethane and must therefore be eliminated by drying or adding "special desiccants." Purely the mixing of thixotropic agents in the liquid polyol component usually requires special mixing units (kneaders) »The low bulk density leads to Furthermore, these thixotropic agents have a strong tendency to form dust According to DE-PS 1 260 142 and DE-OS 2 513 815 it is known that by reaction of diamines, hydrazines and hydrazides with diisocyanates ^ - in P. are olyätheralkoholen stable dispersions with increased Viskosität'.erzeugt. the concomitant use of small amounts of monofunctional amines according to DS-OS 2550796 in these processes is also known "these uses herding? to control by chain termination, the molecular weight of the macromolecular reaction products. the for this Processes Used Diamines, hydrazines and hydrazides are technically difficult to prepare and, because of their relatively high melting points, are difficult to handle as hot melts or solutions. " The dispersions thus prepared are viscous or not thixotropic.
The aim of the invention is a process for the preparation of thixotropic polyol components according to a simple technology, omitting the drying and kneading process, without the use of solid thixotropic agents, achieving a high volume yield and short batch run times in the Miscjiaggregateiu These thixotropic polyol components should be suitable for the production of polyurethanes , Furthermore, the aim is to improve the sedimentation behavior of optionally added fillers and the compatibility of the Pölyolkomponente with the polyisocyanate »
