Pro ukládání záznamových nosičů se používá řada pouzder, skříněk, stojanů, zásuvkových archivů a zásobníků, které mají umožnit přehledné uspořádání nosičů a jejich snadné vyjímání, přičemž nosiče jsou v nich ukládány horizontálně nebo vertikálně.
