Technical field

The technical solution concerns flat pallets and enables easy, fast, strong and economical fastening of objects of any shape on pallets and stacking pallets with such goods.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Pallets, especially flat pallets, have become an indispensable tool for everyday transportation. Pallets must allow the empty pallet to be replaced immediately with the pallet delivered with the goods.

Only four-way (under four-sided lifting equipment) flat pallets made of wood and four-way box pallets made of steel are used as interchangeable. Plastic pallets are not suitable in this respect, as it is difficult to achieve the same quality by different manufacturers.

Flat pallets made of wood are the most used. However, piece goods of irregular shapes are difficult to attach to them, and pallets can only be stacked with a load, creating a compact flat and horizontal top surface with the dimensions of the pallet base.

For piece or irregularly shaped objects it is necessary to use box pallets. They are expensive and empty bulky. Fixing larger irregular objects often makes them difficult and results in free space.

A disadvantage of a flat wood pallet is that piece objects, especially irregular shapes, are difficult to fix, especially since the fixation must extend over the entire pallet and extend beyond the underside of the support surface. This causes frequent damage when the lifting device is pushed under the pallet.

Pallets cannot be stacked when transporting and storing piece items, especially irregular shapes. The weight of the empty pallet is considerable. Wood can be easily attacked by various pests such as fungus, bacteria, mold, rot, insects, and the like. Various solutions and chemicals are easily absorbed into the wood, which is difficult to remove. Pallets can thus become dangerous and unusable for eg food, as the condition of the pallets is not examined from this point of view. Inadequate protection of pallets with toxic coatings can compromise the usability of pallets for some operations. These pallets are then difficult and costly to dispose of at the end of their service life. The apparent ease of manufacture results in non-compliance by some manufacturers. This can cause serious injuries and greatly reduce the service life, which is normally 10 - 15 cycles.

The essence of the technical solution

These problems, in particular the limited usability of flat pallets for piece-shaped articles of irregular shapes and the impossibility of stacking pallets with such goods, have been well known since the introduction of interchangeable pallets. There is a widespread view among experts that this lack of flat pallets can only be addressed by the use of special box pallets

Even a large number of other flat pallets, manufactured to date from a variety of materials, did not offer a solution to these problems, although objective options with all the necessary prerequisites have long been known and their solution means a considerable technical and commercial effect and satisfying the long, long felt need of society.

These drawbacks are largely overcome by the technical solution by shaping, preferably by chamfering, the lateral sides of the flat pallet carrier parts so that the gaps widen downward. Into these gaps can be inserted or inserted parts whose width and shape of the lateral sides coincide with the gap between the supporting parts and have the same height with them. These parts have one or more gripping points, e.g. stitches, on the upper narrow side. The outer support columns of the pallet have an opening from the side, possibly even from above.

The stitched parts can be positioned anywhere in the gaps of the pallet support surface, and when the object is pulled onto the pallet using stitches, the parts are firmly connected to the pallet without extending beyond the lower plane of the pallet support surface to secure the object perfectly on the surface. This fastening of any object is very easy, economical and strong. The openings in the support columns on the perimeter of the pallet can be loaded with parts which, when joined, form a rigid fence that has strips on its upper perimeter that are necessary to accommodate the next pallet in the stack. For different heights of the objects to be transported, the fencing parts may also have different heights, or the height may be adjustable, for example, by telescoping the tubes of the fencing posts, etc., which further increases the versatility of the device according to the technical solution. The reinforcement on at least one narrower side of the enclosure can be removed so that easy access to the pallet in the stack is possible.

Pallets can be used as normal flat pallets, any objects can be easily, economically and firmly fixed to them, pallets can be stacked with them both during transport and in storage without unused space and empty pallets can be folded, returned and stored as normal flat pallets pallets, the folded corral, possibly directly on the pallet.

For the production of pallets according to the technical solution, it is also very advantageous to use metal, especially sheet metal or profiles, in particular steel, iron, aluminum as a construction material. By reinforcing sheet metal strips by a suitable bend or even more bends according to the strength of the material used, it is possible to achieve maximum lightening of the pallets while keeping all the parameters of their properties. For the upper surface of the pallet and the surface that touches the substrate, it is necessary to roughen the material with a crimp, for example, to limit the displacement of the load or pallet. The upper surface can also be limited by a slight increase in bend. The pallet support pillars are partially open on the narrower side facing the center of the pallet to prevent liquids from accumulating therein and to allow access for eventual attachment of the intermediate parts. Individual parts are connected by welding. The pallet is also painted or galvanized.

Metal pallets according to the technical solution will also eliminate all other disadvantages of flat pallets made of wood, such as high weight, attacked by pests, infiltration of solutions and chemicals, non-compliance by stout manufacturers, toxic coatings.

The objects to be transported are placed on the pallet of FIGS. 1 and 2. Their shape can be any.
