Dosud je známo několik způsobů uchycení často používaných knih, jako např. telefonních seznamů ve veřejných telefonních hovornách, jízdních řádů v čekárnách apod., při jejich současném zajištění proti odcizení. Nejčastějším a nej jednodušším způsobem je zavěšení knihy na provázek procházející středem knihy, popř. mezi vazbou a listy. Toto uchycení je z hlediska pevnosti málo vhodné, neboť velmi brzy dochází k roztržení knihy, odtržení vazby apod. Rovněž manipulace s takto zavěšenou knihou je obtížná a kniha je snadno odcizitelná. Dále jsou známy otočné držáky knih, které sestávají z překlopného ramene, otočně upevněného k jedné či více konzolám. Uvedené nedostatky do značné míry odstraňuje otočný držák knih, sestávající z překlopného ramene, otočně upevněného k alespoň jedné konzole, podle tohoto technického řešení. A swivel book holder, comprising a swivel arm pivotally mounted to at least one bracket, characterized in that the swivel arm (1) is provided with a handle (2) which is pivotally attached at one end to the swivel arm (1) and provided at its other end with a U-shaped cover stop (3) with openings (4, 5) between which a screw (6) extends through the opening (4) in the cover stop (3) and in the closed position a clip (2) screwed into a nut (7) arranged at the other end of the tilting arm (1).
