Description
Oblast technikyField of technology
The technical solution concerns a cement mortar containing 100% replacement of natural filler. Cement mortar contains recycled concrete and waste material from the mineral wool production process, its properties make it suitable for both internal and external use.
Dosavadní stav technikyCurrent state of the art
Cement mortars are an important part of the construction industry, they are used as a bonding material or for surface treatment applications. Conventional mortars contain sand as a filler, which is obtained by mining natural resources. Extensive mining not only has a negative impact on the landscape, soil degradation, pollution of surface and underground water, but also the problem of dwindling reserves of natural resources.
Moderní společnost by měla řešit efektivní využívání druhotných surovin, aby bylo dosaženo enviromentální i ekonomické udržitelnosti. Opětovné využití druhotných surovin řeší problémy spojené se skládkováním a zachováním primárních zdrojů surovin. Vhodnou alternativou přírodního písku do cementových malt je recyklovaný beton a odpadní materiál z výroby minerální vlny.Modern society should address the efficient use of secondary raw materials in order to achieve environmental and economic sustainability. The reuse of secondary raw materials solves the problems associated with landfilling and the preservation of primary sources of raw materials. A suitable alternative to natural sand for cement mortars is recycled concrete and waste material from the production of mineral wool.
A solution using recycled concrete as an aggregate for mortars is known from file CN 102701665 A, where mixed construction waste is used. A similar solution is also found in patent CN 101830673 A, where mixed construction waste is used together with an activator and various types of additives. The use of mixed construction waste and secondary energy products (blast furnace slag) for the application of mortars is dealt with in document CN 102701647 A. In file CN 103214226 A, recycled concrete was used in combination with cement and gypsum, but this combination is not very suitable in terms of material durability.
The technical solution sets itself the task of designing a cement mortar composition with a complete replacement of natural filler, as an alternative to mortar filler, secondary raw materials in the form of recycled concrete and waste mineral fibers are proposed. The resulting cement mortar is comparable in its properties to commonly available commercial products.
Podstata technického řešeníThe essence of the technical solution
According to the presented technical solution, a cement mortar with concrete recyclate and waste mineral wool is proposed, consisting in the fact that the dry mixture contains 23 to 29% by mass of Portland cement, 54 to 62% by mass, concrete recyclate, 0.4 to 1.0% mass, waste mineral wool, 0.03 to 0.06% mass, plasticizers and 12 to 17% mass, water. Crushed recycled concrete (from prefabricated products) is used as a filler in a fraction corresponding to the PG CEN standard sand (0.25 to 0.5 mm, 0.5 to 1.0 mm and 1 to 2 mm in a ratio of 1:1:1) and waste purified fibers from the production of mineral wool.
The required properties of the mortar mixture in the fresh and hardened state were achieved by optimizing the components of the mixture, which consists in the complete replacement of natural sand with recycled concrete and waste mineral fibers. The primary intention is the maximum effort to use secondary raw materials, which is in line with the current trends of recycling and sustainability of waste management.
