Abstract
A parallax-free infrared reading system that includes a first sensor (5) for forming a first image, a second sensor (6) for creating a second image, a computing unit connected to the first and a second sensor (5, 6), and a display (10) ) connected to the computing unit, where least one of the first or second sensors (5, 6) is adapted to receive at least some 760 nm to 1 mm wavelength radiation. The system also includes a semi-permeable optical filter (4) in the optical beam path behind the object (1) and in front of the first sensor (5) and second sensor (6), the computing unit includes a module to compose the first and second image (8) and a module (9) for displaying the composite image (10).
