Ze stavu techniky jsou známy ochranné tkaniny na krycích systémech používaných v zemědělství a zahradnictví, a jejich spojování a rozpojování během používání, za pomocí spínacích spon, přímo našitého zipu na krycí systém, gumolan, bužírek a kombinací spon s gumolanem nebo bužírkou. Tyto krycí systémy mají chránit pěstované plodiny před nepřízní počasí. Rozumí se tím kroupy, prudký déšť, ostré slunce apod. Též splňují ochrannou funkci před různými škůdci. Na konstrukce těchto krycích systémů jsou též kladeny vysoké nároky na celkovou zátěž, zejména na zachycení krup na tkanině. Nevýhodou spojování a rozpojování těmito technikami je velká náročnost na techniku, lidskou práci a též otevřenou plochou v místě spojení tkanin krycího systému, kudy mohou v určitém úhlu kroupy, nebo prudký déšť zasáhnout plodiny pod krycím systémem. Jedinou výjimkou, lze považovat spojování a rozpojování tkaniny krycího systému pomocí přímo našitého zipu, u ale kterého vznikají další problémy. Při spojování krycích systémů pomocí přímo našitého zipu odpadá náročnost na techniku, ale vzniká náročnost na montáž celého krycího systému. Další nevýhodou tohoto systému je jeho výměna při poškození krycího systému, kdy se musí vyměnit celý systém, čímž vznikají velké finanční nároky.Protective fabrics are known in the art for covering systems used in agriculture and horticulture, and their joining and uncoupling during use, with the use of buckles, directly sewn zipper on the cover system, rubber-tubing, tubing and a combination of rubber-tubing or tubing.
