Abstract

Both of the protective gloves (12, 14) in the packaging unit are attached on one side (20) of the backing sheet (16) and/or on one opposite side (2) of the backing sheet. The gloves are arranged so that the contours of both gloves at least partially overlap. Foil layers, which form the respective upper and lower sides of the glove, and the backing sheet are laid one upon the other in such a way that the backing sheet forms one of the outer layers or the centre layer, and the foil layers are connected through formation of the glove.

Technical field

The invention relates to a packaging unit for two protective gloves, in particular for protection against AIDS, arranged on a carrier sheet and to a method for its manufacture.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Packaging gloves for protective gloves are known in which the protective gloves are mounted side by side on a carrier sheet, for example of paper. Instructions on the use of protective gloves, for example for their use in the treatment of persons suspected of AIDS, may be printed on this carrier sheet. To protect these sensitive protective gloves, which consist of thin plastic film, from damage, it is necessary to attach the gloves to the surface of the carrier sheet. As a result, a large carrier sheet is required to secure the two protective gloves side by side, the size of which corresponds at least to the contour of the adjacent protective gloves. This generally requires a DIN A3 size carrier sheet. As a result, a large amount of paper is required for the packaging units of the two protective gloves arranged on the carrier sheet.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is to provide a packaging unit for two protective gloves, in particular for protection against AIDS, arranged on a carrier sheet, in which the consumption of material for the carrier sheet can be reduced.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This object is achieved by two protective gloves, in particular for protection against AIDS, arranged on a carrier sheet, the essence of the invention is that the first protective glove is always fastened on one side of the carrier sheet, while the other protective glove is fastened on the same side or opposite side of the carrier sheet such that the contours of the two protective gloves overlap at least partially.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the two protective gloves overlap on the major part of the contour.

Preferably, one protective glove is fastened on one side and the other a protective glove on the opposite side of the carrier sheet. In this case, both protective gloves preferably overlap the entire contour.

In another preferred embodiment, both protective gloves are fastened to one side of the carrier sheet. In such a case, the protective glove more distant from the carrier sheet preferably has a larger contour than the protective glove adjacent to the carrier sheet.

The object of forming a packaging unit for two protective gloves, in particular for protection against AIDS, is also solved by a method of manufacturing said packaging unit, the essence of the invention is that the foil layers intended to form the upper and lower sides of each protective glove wherein the carrier sheet forms one of the outer layers and the edges of the film layers intended to form the upper and lower sides of each glove are joined to the wrist edge, and the two gloves are releasably joined to the carrier sheet.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a packaging unit, the essence of the present invention is to provide a layer of foil for forming the top and bottom of each protective glove,

And the backing sheet are laminated such that the backing sheet forms the middle layer and the edges of the film layers intended to form the top and bottom of the glove on each side of the backing sheet are joined together to the wrist edge, the gloves are releasably connected to the carrier sheet.

Exemplary embodiments of the invention

The carrier sheet 16 of paper or the like has a conventional rectangular outline, consisting of a sheet of paper of DIN A4 size. A protective glove 12 is fastened to the carrier sheet 16, for example by gluing at several points or by gluing with heat. The protective glove 12 is formed of a transparent polyethylene film as well as a second protective glove 14 which lies thereon and is thus further away from the carrier sheet 16. This second protective glove 14, which is also made of transparent polyethylene film, has a slightly larger contour than the first protective glove 12 which lies beneath it and thus adheres to the carrier sheet 16.

The structure of the layers is apparent from FIG. 2. The carrier sheet 16 carries first both layers of the foil of one protective glove 12 and despite this both foils of the other protective glove 14 are seen, with a slightly larger outline.

Fig. 3 shows an arrangement where both protective gloves 12, 14 lie on opposite sides 20 and 22 of the carrier sheet 16.

Packaging units can be produced as follows:

First, the layers of foil, i.e. two layers for each protective glove 12, 14, are arranged either on one side 20 of the carrier sheet 16 as shown in Fig. 2, or on opposite sides 20. 22 of the carrier sheet 16 as shown in FIG. 3. The edges of the film layers are then joined together, for example by hot-sticking, to the edge adjacent to the wrist. In the case of hot-sealing, at the same time, a non-rigid, releasable connection of the two protective gloves 12, 14 to the carrier sheet 16 is formed.

In this way, when making the protective glove 12 by means of a heat-sealed seam, one protective glove 12 adjacent to the backing sheet 16 can first be glued from two layers of foil and the second protective glove 14 is glued in the same manner over the first protective glove 12. the protective glove 14, which is further away from the support sheet 16, with a slightly larger contour line, can be heat bonded to the protective glove 14 without the protective glove 14 sticking to the protective glove 12 below it.

However, a non-sticking layer may also be applied to the lower glove 12 and then a second protective glove 14 may be applied and bonded. In this case, the contour lines of the two glove 12 lying on top of each other may also be identical.

The connection of the protective gloves 12, 14 can take place by known methods, for example by gluing or by heat sealing.

PATENT CLAIMS Packaging unit for two protective gloves, in particular for protection against AIDS, arranged on a carrier sheet, characterized in that the first protective glove (12) is always fastened on one side (20) of the carrier sheet (16), while the other protective glove (14) is fastened on the same side (20) or opposite side (22) of the carrier sheet (16) such that the contours of the two protective gloves (12, 14) overlap at least partially. Packaging unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the two protective gloves (12, 14) overlap most of the contour. Packaging unit according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that one protective glove (12) is fastened on one side (20) and the other a protective glove (14) on the opposite side (22) of the carrier sheet (16). Packaging unit according to claim 3, characterized in that the two protective gloves (12, 14) overlap the entire contour. Packaging unit according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that both protective gloves (12, 14) are fastened to one side (20) of the carrier sheet (16). Packaging unit according to claim 5, characterized in that the protective glove (14) further away from the carrier sheet (16) has a larger contour than the protective glove (12) adjacent to the carrier sheet (16). Method for manufacturing a packaging unit according to claims 1, 2, 5 or 6, characterized in that the foil layers intended to form the upper and lower sides of the individual protective gloves and the carrier sheet are laminated such that the carrier sheet forms one of the outer layers and the edges of the layers of film intended to form the top and bottom of each glove are joined to the wrist edge, and the two gloves are releasably joined to the carrier sheet. Method of manufacturing a packaging unit according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the layers of film intended to form the top and bottom of each protective glove and the carrier sheet are laminated such that the carrier sheet forms the middle layer and edges of the layers of film intended to form the top and bottom. The sides of the glove on each side of the backing sheet are joined to the edge to be worn and the two gloves are releasably connected to the backing sheet.
