Description

Technical field

The technical solution relates to a playing card mixing device which solves the method of mixing playing cards in gaming rooms and casinos, where live playing with real cards is played.

Background Art

There are many different types of electronic mixers on the market. They differ in particular by the method of mixing the cards, the mechanical arrangement of the mixing chambers, the method of controlling the mixing process, the type of game for which the playing cards are intended, and the like.

E.g. European Patent EP 2 085 126 discloses a device which mixes and distributes cards, whereby it reads face images of cards and stores them in a computer. In case of discrepancies, the device can be retrieved from the device to show which cards were dealt to the players.

Other patents, e.g., U.S. Patent No. 5,067,713, U.S. Patent 4,667,959 or U.S. Patent No. 5,374,061, disclose devices for mixing and distributing playing cards that are labeled with unique labels that may be invisible to the human eye. The device is equipped with a reading mechanism, by means of which the cards can be shuffled and distributed in a certain order.

The main disadvantage of the above-mentioned design solutions is the need to use marked cards, respectively. Capture images from cards. This eliminates the use of any cards and reduces the confidence of players in the honesty of the game.

Another method of blending cards is described in the patent application NL 93/9301771. The apparatus includes two mixing compartments which can be positioned in the first or second position. By means of the conveying device, the cards can be moved from the mixing device, which is located in the first position, to the mixing device, which is located in the second position. By means of a refill and discharge device, the cards can be continuously refilled and removed, and the device allows to keep the amount of cards involved in the mixing at a constant level. When one card is removed from the storage procedure and delivered to the storage compartment by the emptying device, another card from the refill compartment is automatically added.

The agitator according to US B2 6 659 460 can be used for continuous mixing of up to six card packs at a time. The principle is based on a rotating magazine fitted with compartments. The rotation of the magazine is controlled by a random algorithm to achieve sufficient shuffling of the cards in single compartments. Each tray can hold several cards. The mixing of the multiple packages takes place such that after inserting the cards into the feed compartment, the cards are subsequently randomly distributed into the compartments on the rotating magazine. After emptying the feed compartment, additional stacks of cards are inserted and the stacks are refilled. After splitting all of the up to six packages, the contents of one of the compartments is extended by the arm between the cylinders that transport the cards into the dispensing area. The cards are returned to the feed area after the round of 35 played round of the game, and the rotary magazine is refilled with them.

The advantage of the two solutions described above is the possibility of mixing a deck of a large number of cards from which cards are continuously withdrawn, distributed to players, and supplemented by new ones. This method of blending is suitable for some types of card games, such as Black Jack, especially because of the lack of play interruption while the cards are being mixed. The drawback of this technical solution is seen in the difficulty of using a mixer for games requiring one shuffled deck of cards.

There are also mixing systems designed to mix only one deck of cards. For example, it is a principle based on inserting a new card into a deck of cards. The device has two chambers, dispensing and receiving. The mixing process begins with a full pack of unmixed cards in the dispensing chamber, and the receiving chamber is empty. The cards are moved one at a time from the dispensing chamber to the receiving chamber. A package of already shuffled cards is created in the receiving chamber. Before each transfer of the card from the dispenser to the receiving chamber, the pack of already shuffled cards in the receiving chamber is removed by the arms so that the new card is inserted between the shuffled cards. Random scanning of the deck of cards ensures the quality of mixing. The disadvantage of this technical solution is that it is not possible to provide any combination of card mixing, since the accuracy of the sensing of the arms cannot be ensured with accuracy on one card.

The essence of the technical solution

These drawbacks are largely eliminated by the playing card mixing device comprising a housing, a first carriage motor, a second carriage motor, a third feed roller motor, a fourth end roller motor, a common pivot pin, an eccentric, a connecting rod, and a cover bearing opener according to the present invention. characterized in that it comprises a pair of ridge ridges, wherein the teeth comprise 2 to 52 compartments arranged in the shape of a circular sector, wherein a common carriage and a carriage are disposed on the common pivot pin, while the carriage is provided with a filter part.

The main advantage of the playing card mixing device according to the present invention is that it prevents cheating by manually shuffling the cards and thus increases the confidence of all players in honestly mixing cards without being influenced by the human factor. The device is capable of shuffling the cards in any way into any random order of cards, without limiting the mixing process by mechanical or other factors such as the number of mixing chambers, the number of mixing cycles, and the like.

The essence of the card mixer solution is based on the principle of splitting cards into as many compartments as there are cards in the deck. E.g. When playing Poker, you need to mix the 52-card deck. Thus, the mixer contains 52 compartments into which the cards are gradually inserted, so the cards can be mixed with any mathematical algorithm, without limitation by mechanical construction of the mixer. The mixing of the cards is accomplished by placing the compartments geometrically in the shape of a part of a circle with two carriages that are rotatable about one common axis.

For proper functioning, it is advantageous that the playing card mixing device comprises a filter element which is formed by at least one permanent magnet and a feed roll.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The technical solution will be explained in more detail with the help of the drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows a device for mixing playing cards in a general position during card mixing and Fig. 2 a device for mixing playing cards in the upper position when selecting or inserting cards.

Examples of technical solutions

1 and 2 comprises a housing 30, a first motor 10 of a distribution carriage 1, a second motor 12 of a carriage 2, a third motor 14 of a feeding rollers 13, a fourth motor 17 of the end rollers 16, a common pivot 4 rotating, eccentric 7, connecting rod 8, and bearing cap opening 21, and is further formed by a pair of swiveling ridges 3. Teeth 5 form 2 to 52 compartments 28 disposed in a circular sector, wherein a common carriage 1 is mounted on a common pivot 4 and secondly, the collecting carriage 2. The distribution carriage 1 is provided with a filter element 24 which is formed by at least one permanent magnet 29 and a feeding roll 13,

The essential components of the playing card mixing device are the distribution carriage 1, the carriage 2 and one pair of rake ridges 3, each with 52 card trays 28. The number of compartments 28 may be any number of cards. The principle of the system is based on the attachment of the distribution carriage 1 and the carriage 2 to the common pivot pin 4 and the placement of the card pockets 28 on the circumference of the carriage 1 circle. The movement of the carriage 1 and the carriage 2 is limited to a part of the circle. Card trays 28 are formed by teeth 5 on a pair of swiveling ridges 3 that extend into the card space. Each of the ridge ridges 3 is rotatable about its own ridge axis 6. The teeth 5 of the ridge ridges 3 extend into the space of the mixed cards with only a portion of them. This is used to select the blended cards and then collapse the collector 2, where the compartments 28 need to be spaced apart so that they do not fulfill their function. Principle a

The arrangement of the trolleys makes it possible to create one compartment 28 for each card from the deck while maintaining a small external dimension.

The drive of the distribution carriage 1 is solved by means of the eccentric 7 and the connecting rod 8. The eccentric 2 is driven via a belt drive 9 of the distributor carriage 1 by the first motor 10. The carriage 2 is driven by a belt drive U of the collector carriage 2 by a second motor 12. are driven by the third motor 14 via the belt drive 15 of the feed roller drive 13. The end rollers 16 firing the cards into the trays 28 are driven by the fourth motor 17 via the belt drive 18 of the end roller drive 16.

In the position for inserting a new deck of cards to be mixed, the distribution car 1 and the carriage 2 are in the extreme upper position in which the lid 20 is open. After inserting a new deck of cards 19 and pressing a button or an automatic start, the distributor carriage 1 and the carriage 2 move into the housing 30 and the lid 20 closes. The lid 20 is actuated by a bearing opener 21 rigidly connected to the distribution carriage 1. The distribution car 1 seeks a zero position by means of the first switch 22 and the collecting car 2 seeks a zero position by the second switch 23. After finding the zero position, the collecting car 2 is locked in the extreme down position and the opening ridges 3 remain closed. The distributor car 1 then starts to move in random order between 1 to 52 compartments 28, and one card 19-1 is fired into each compartment 28 thereafter. from the whole deck of cards 19. After the cards are fired, for example, 19-1. placed in one of the compartments 28, e.g., card 19-2. The filter part 24 ensures that just one card is fired into one compartment 28. The filter element 24 is magnetically pressed against the feed rollers 13. After all the compartments 28 have been filled, the two spreading ridges 3 are opened by the movement of the collecting trolley 2 and the tension spring 25. The teeth 5 of the folding ridges 3 are hidden, the cards begin to fall on the smooth rear wall 26 and are simultaneously picked up by the movement of the collector 2. Along with the collecting trolley 2, the already empty distributor car 1 moves into the position of the highest compartment 28. After the button is pressed by the operator, the bearing opener 21 opens the lid 20 and allows the package of mixed cards 22 to be selected from the collection car 2.
