Abstract

The invention relates to the layered bandage for local subcooling or warming of parts of human body, which comprises three layers (2, 3, 4), between which there are positioned interlayers (6, 7) and on two opposite edges at least one of them is connected with the fastening means (5). The first layer (2) is formed of a pocket for inserting the replaceable filling (81) of active substances and its outer wall (1) designated for application to the skin of a patient is microporous and permeable for active substances, the second layer (3) is formed of a pocket for inserting the regulator (82) of warmth or coldness, the third layer (4) is formed of a pneumatic pocket (83) for repeatable increasing of pressure.

Description

Technical field

The technical solution relates to a layered bandage for local cooling or heating of a part of the human body.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

To date, warm water applications in various containers that are applied to the body have been used to heat a part of the human body, and applications with ice or other media, such as a gel, are applied to the body. These applications do not contain active substances and cannot be controlled and controlled electronically. Electric cushions for heating body parts are also known. These cushions are provided with regulation, but do not contain active substances. It is an object of the present invention to at least partially eliminate or reduce the shortcomings of the prior art and to provide a bandage for locally subcooling or heating parts of the human body capable of delivering active ingredients to the body.

The essence of the technical solution

This object is achieved by a layered bandage according to the present invention, the principle being that the bandage comprises three layers between which interlayers are arranged and at two opposite edges at least one of them is connected to the fastening means, the first layer being formed by the removable active substance loading pocket and its outer wall for application to the patient's skin are microporous and permeable to the active substances, the second layer consisting of the heat or cold regulator insert, the third layer consisting of a pneumatic 20 pocket for repeated pressure increase. The active substance from the cartridge stored in the first pocket, when applied to the patient's body in the skin and actively acts in healing, ensuring the optimal temperature required for healing, relaxation, regeneration, cosmetic effects and others, while ensuring perfect pressure outer wall of the first layer of bandage on the patient's body due to an increase in air pressure in the third layer. The bandage according to the present invention enables controlled release of the active substances into the body.

To achieve the desired heating of the bandage and to control its temperature, the heat or cold regulator comprises a heater with a resistance wire coupled to the rheostat.

To achieve the desired cooling of the bandage, the heat or cold regulator comprises a cooling charge formed by a supercooled cooling gel.

To ensure good heat or cold transfer from the second layer to the first layer, the first intermediate layer comprises a thermally conductive substance, thereby ensuring rapid heating or cooling of the patient's skin under the enclosed bandage.

In this case, it is advantageous if the second intermediate layer comprises a thermal insulating material which reduces the escape of heat or cold into the third layer and into the environment.

In a preferred embodiment, the pneumatic pocket for repeatedly increasing pressure comprises a compressor.

The fasteners are made of Velcro fasteners for easy and high quality fastening to the affected parts of the body.

Examples of technical solution

The layered bandage according to the present invention comprises three separate layers interconnected and separated by interlayers and is intended to be applied to a patient's skin.

The outer wall 1 of the first layer 2 to be applied to the skin of the patient is microporous. The first layer 2 is formed by a closable pocket which is intended to receive a replaceable active substance cartridge 81.

The second layer 3 comprises a closable pocket in which a heat or cold regulator 82 is received. For heat control, the heat or cold controller 82 comprises a heater comprising a resistance wire. For the regulation of the cold, the heat or cold regulator comprises a cooling gel capable of high freezing and the subsequent release of cold, and consequently cooling of its surroundings, in particular of the surroundings with which it is in contact. A first intermediate layer 6 is arranged between the first layer 2 and the second layer 3, which connects and separates these layers. The first intermediate layer 6 comprises a thermally highly conductive material for conducting heat or cold from the second layer 3 to the first layer 2, in which it is heated or cooled.

The third layer 4 consists of a pneumatic pocket 83 with a built-in mechanism, for example a compressor for repeated pressure increase, thereby achieving a higher compression in the second layer and in the first layer 2 and a higher pressure on the body. The intermediate layer 7 between the second layer 3 and the third layer is provided with an insulating material which prevents the passage of heat or cold between the second layer 3 and the third layer 4.

The two opposite edges of the bandage are joined by fastening means 5, which in the illustrated embodiment are formed by Velcro fasteners, which are fastened on opposite edges of the first layer 2 and serve to fasten to the treated part of the patient's body. The fastening means may also be formed by other known means, for example weavers.

Industrial applicability

The layered bandage is designed especially for after-treatment and rehabilitation of conditions where it is necessary to repeatedly and regulatedly heat the body part or repeatedly to cool the body parts while simultaneously applying the active substances to the skin.
