Technical field

The technical solution concerns retrofitting for a riflescope.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Riflescopes can be mounted on the gun either firmly or removably. Weapons are usually provided with mounting dovetails of different profiles and parameters to which mounts with rifle ice are attached.

An embodiment of such a connection between a weapon and a riflescope by means of fastening rings is described, for example, in DE 19810038, which shows fastening rings with a side clamping lever which fixes it firmly on the rifle mounting rail in an upright position.

CZ 18787 (U1) discloses a method of clamping fastening rings to a mounting rail by means of a bolt which is terminated at one end by a grooved head and at the other by a mounting wheel. By loosening the mounting wheel and then pressing it in the longitudinal axis of the bolt, the fastening connection between the bolt head and the mounting rail will be disconnected and thus the rifle scope can be dismantled.

U.S. Pat. No. 3,513,549 discloses another variant of the rifle mount mechanism. The insert under the mounting wheel is designed to grip the mounting rail and tighten the optics on it when tightening the screw.

However, the above-described assemblies do not allow to combine a riflescope with an illumination device (eg a laser lamp), i.e. with another tube. Conventionally manufactured riflescopes do not have any mounting devices for retrofitting additional bodies. Users must then use side retrofits.

The aim of the technical solution is to present an additional assembly, which enables the attachment of another device to the already mounted riflescope.

The essence of the technical solution

The above-mentioned drawbacks are remedied to a large extent by the rifle scope, which consists of a bottom sleeve for mounting on a riflescope, which is provided with a mounting dovetail on its upper side and a removable upper sleeve provided in its lower part. a clamping mechanism for allowing simple, rapid and accurate removal and reconnection of the lighting device to the rifle scope, the clamping mechanism being formed by a fixed jaw forming part of the upper sleeve and a movable jaw formed as a thrust insert, the movable jaw being threaded on the screw with the tightening head and the fixed jaw and movable jaw are located on the sides of the fixing dovetail of the lower sleeve.

In a preferred embodiment, a spherical recess is provided within the upper sleeve, in which a ring is provided with a spherical outer surface of the same radius as the spherical recess of the inner surface of the upper sleeve, the ring being divided.

In another preferred embodiment, the inner surface of the lower sleeve is rubberized.

The lower sleeve 2 is located on the tube of the riflescope 3, while the upper sleeve 5 serves to accommodate the illumination device 6.

As is better seen in FIG. 2, the clamping mechanism 7 is formed by a fixed jaw 8 and a movable jaw 9, which is designed as a thrust insert, to allow simple, rapid and accurate removal and reconnection of the illumination device 6 to the rifle scope. A screw with a tightening head 10 is pulled through the movable front of the thrust insert. By turning the screw, the thrust insert 9 is pressed against the dovetail 4, thereby establishing a firm connection between them.

The inner surface 13 of the lower sleeve 2 is rubberized to avoid scratching the scope of the riflescope 3.

A spherical recess 11 is arranged inside the upper sleeve 5, in which a ring 12 with a spherical outer surface of the same radius as the spherical recess 11 of the inner surface of the upper sleeve 5 is inserted.

The ring 12 is divided and can therefore be clamped. This is because of its easy insertion into the spherical recess ϋ. The ring 12 thus designed allows the lighting device 6 to be pivoted therein to adjust the direction of its illumination in accordance with the orientation of the other optics.

A particular advantage of the retrofit is that it is versatile in that the lower ring for mounting on the scope of the riflescope 3 and the upper ring for the attachment 6 can be of any diameter. It is sufficient if the connection between the dovetail 4 and the clamping mechanism 7 is always the same.
