Abstract
This is a method of manufacturing a filter membrane which in its multilayer structure comprises at least one base layer of a polymeric fabric with a basis weight of 15 to 200 g / m 2 and associated at least one layer of electrospinned nonwoven nanotextile with a basis weight of 0.05 to 8 g / m 2, with a distribution of nanofiber diameters in the range of 40 to 400 nm. This method of production consists in pressing a base layer with a layer of non-woven nanotextile at a temperature of 50 to 200 ° C, using as a base layer a polymeric fabric with a wide molecular weight distribution, whose low molecular weight parts have a melting point in the pressing temperature range and in the molten state. when pressed, it causes bonding to a nonwoven nanotextile whose polymeric material has a melting point above the upper limit of the pressing temperature range.

Oblast technikyField of technology
The invention relates to a process for the production of a filter membrane which is intended for filters for the microfiltration of liquids and the filtration of air with efficiency, in particular in the field of capturing ultrafine parts.
By applying nanofibrous structures - nanowoven fabrics for filtration of liquids and air, very high flow rates on filter membranes can be achieved, especially at the beginning of the filtration process. Nanostructures form structures with a mean pore size of around 300 nm and can therefore also be used for microfiltration of liquids, especially the aqueous process, which removes all bacteria with high efficiency. The disadvantage of using nanostructures for liquid filtration is their poor mechanical properties. Membranes prepared from them therefore require additional reinforcement by joining (lamination) with suitable base layers.
Způsoby spojování vrstev z velmi jemných vláken do laminovaných struktur filtračních materiálů jsou předmětem např. mezinárodní patentové přihlášky PCT WO 2011/052865, mezinárodní patentové přihlášky PCI7WO 2012/135679, či patentové přihlášky US 2013118973.Methods for joining layers of very fine fibers into laminated structures of filter materials are the subject of, for example, International Patent Application PCT WO 2011/052865, International Patent Application PCI7WO 2012/135679, or Patent Application US 2013118973.
From the point of view of the functionality of the filter structure, it appears to be positive if the connection of the individual layers by the connecting intermediate layer is limited in area. In this sense, International Patent Application PCTWO 2008/150548 A1 and U.S. Patent Applications 2004116019 and US 2004128732 disclose a method for joining a very fine fiber layer and a backing layer, in which the bonding adhesive intermediate layer is applied in areas limited by engraving rollers.
Obdobně spojování filtračních struktur řeší patent německých autorů EP 1985349 Bl.The subject of the international patent application PCT / WO 2013/066022 A1 is again a method of joining in which a layer of very fine fibers with a lower melting point (50 to 170 ° C) is applied to the substrate material on one or both sides by electrospinning and then layer of very fine fibers with a higher melting point (80 to 250 ° C). During the subsequent thermal lamination, the layer with a lower melting point is partially melted and the layers are joined. Similarly, the joining of filter structures is solved by the patent of the German authors EP 1985349 B1.
A composite comprising at least one layer of nanofibers is known from the prior art also represented, for example, by CZ 25797 U1 (NAFIGATE Corporation, a.s.). It is clear from the examples that the filter layer of polymer nanofibers can be applied directly to the surface of the carrier layer, which serves as a base material for depositing polymer nanofibers, using calendering and / or suitable for sufficiently durable bonding of the carrier layer and filter layer. binder. This binder can be applied in the form of powder and / or paste and / or gels and / or liquids, in the form of a regular or irregular lattice and / or separate formations, such as fibers and / or particles and / or streaks and / or other formations .
Ze stavu techniky jsou též známy kompozitní struktury, které obsahují nanovlákna, a které jsou vhodné pro odstraňování mikroorganismů, viz mezinárodní patentová přihláška PCT/WO 2013/013241 Al (EMD MILLIPORE CORPORATION).Composite structures which contain nanofibers and which are suitable for the removal of microorganisms are also known from the prior art, see International Patent Application PCT / WO 2013/013241 A1 (EMD MILLIPORE CORPORATION).
Nicméně při aplikaci výše uvedených postupů, obdobně jako při spojování textilií ultrazvukem, plamenem, horkým plynem nebo vzduchem, dochází k pronikání tavitelné složky dojemných pórů filtračních materiálů a výraznému snižování účinné plochy pro filtraci, tedy růstu tlakového odporu a snižování rychlosti průtoku. However, when applying the above methods, similarly to ultrasonic, flame, hot gas or air bonding of textiles, the fusible component of the moving pores of the filter materials penetrates and the effective filtration area is significantly reduced, i.e. the pressure resistance increases and the flow rate decreases.

Podstata vynálezuThe essence of the invention
K odstranění výše uvedených nedostatků přispívá způsob výroby filtrační membrány podle vynálezu, která ve své vícevrstvé struktuře obsahuje alespoň jednu podkladovou vrstvu polymemí textilie s plošnou hmotností 15 až 200 g/m2 a sní spojenou alespoň jednu vrstvu elektrospinningové netkané nanotextilie s plošnou hmotností 0,05 až 8 g/m2, s distribucí průměrů nanovláken v intervalu 40 až 400 nm a střední velikostí pórů 200 až 1800 nm.The method for producing a filter membrane according to the invention, which comprises in its multilayer structure at least one backing layer of a polymeric fabric with a basis weight of 15 to 200 g / m 2 and eats the combined at least one layer of electrospinning nonwoven nanotextile with a basis weight of 0.05, contributes to overcoming the above-mentioned drawbacks. to 8 g / m 2 , with a distribution of nanofiber diameters in the range of 40 to 400 nm and a mean pore size of 200 to 1800 nm.
The invention relates to compressing said backing layer of polymeric fabric with said layer of electrospinning nonwoven nanotextile at a temperature of 50 to 200 ° C, preferably at a temperature of 130 to 150 ° C and a pressure of 0.05 to 1 MPa. A polymeric fabric with a wide molecular weight distribution is used as the backing layer, the low molecular weight fractions of which have a melting point in the compression temperature range and, in the molten state during compression, bond to an electrospinning nonwoven nanotextile whose polymeric material has a melting point above the upper limit of the compression temperature range.
The backing layer of the polymeric fabric with a wide molecular weight distribution is preferably a polymeric fabric of partially degraded polyethylene terephthalate, containing portions of polymeric macromolecules having a melting point of 145-170 ° C and compressing the backing layer of the polymeric fabric with a layer of electrospinning nonwoven nanotextile to 200 ° C and a pressure of 0.05 to 1 MPa, in addition to the interconnection of the two layers, also causes the base layer to solidify.
As the nonwoven nanotextile layer, a polymer-based submicron fiber layer from the group consisting of polyvinylidene fluoride, polyurethane, polylactic acid, polyamide, polyacrylonitrile, cellulose acetate, polystyrene, polysulfone, polyethersulfone is preferably used.
The prepared structure of the base fabric formed of a polymer with a wide molecular weight distribution associated with the nanotextile can then be provided with a cover layer consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, polyamide or polyester meltblown, spunbond or spunlace nonwovens or nets or woven fabrics of synthetic fibers, especially non-bases. polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate and polyamide or natural fibers such as flax, hemp, cotton, or mixtures thereof.
Membranes reinforced with woven or non-woven polymeric fabrics prepared by the process according to the invention already have sufficient mechanical properties necessary for liquid microfiltration membranes and can also be used for folding into air filters. The most important variables in the preparation of membranes are pressing pressure and temperature.

Příklady uskutečnění vynálezuExamples of embodiments of the invention
1), připraveného z recyklovaného polymeru a vrstvy elektrospinningové netkané nanotextilie s plošnou hmotností 2,4 g/m2 z polyvinylidenfluoridových nanovláken se střední hodnotou průměrů nanovláken kolem 160 nm. 2).The water microfiltration membrane was prepared by compressing a substrate layer of a nonwoven fabric having a basis weight of 70 g / m 2 made of partially degraded polyethylene terephthalate with a wide molecular weight distribution (see Fig. 1) prepared from recycled polymer and a layer of electrospinning nonwoven nanotextile having a basis weight of 2. 4 g / m 2 of polyvinylidene fluoride nanofibers with a mean value of nanofiber diameters around 160 nm. The pressing took place at a pressure of 0.4 MPa and a temperature of 150 ° C. At this pressing temperature, the low molecular weight fractions in the polyethylene terephthalate backing layer were optimally melted and thus the desired solidification of the filter material took place, while the filter nanostructure remained intact (see the structure in FIG. 2).
3.The water microfiltration membrane was prepared by compressing 2.4 g / m 2 polyvinylidene fluoride nanofibers with a mean nanofiber diameter of about 160 nm and a nonwoven fabric having a basis weight of 70 g / m 2 made from partially degraded polyethylene terephthalate with a wide molecular weight distribution as in Example 1. However, the pressing took place at a pressure of 0.4 MPa and a temperature of 130 ° C. The flow of distilled water at a pressure of 0.1 MPa through the membrane decreased in one hour from 140,000 l / m 2 h to 30,000 l / m 2 h. The cause of this is the decrease in biofilm formation shown in Fig. 3.
5) a zpětným proplachem. The filter membrane prepared by pressing at 0.4 MPa at 130 ° C had a smooth surface and the structure shown in Fig. 4 can be cleaned by repeated washing (with the effect shown in the graphs in Fig. 5) and backwashing.
6).The material prepared by pressing the same materials and at the same pressure as in Example 1, but at a temperature of 160 ° C, already had a collapsed stroke (Fig. 6).
7. Materiály s výše popsanou konstmkcí mohou být lisovány až do teplot 150 °C.The effect of pressing temperature on pore size and air permeability (measured according to ASTMF316-03 from 2011) is shown in Fig. 7. Materials with the above-described construction can be pressed up to temperatures of 150 ° C.
The composition of the two-layer filter material was the same as in Examples 1 and 2, but a fabric with a basis weight of 100 g / m 2 , woven from polyethylene terephthalate yarns formed of two fibers braided from three yarns of 20 tex fineness, was used as the base fabric. The polyethylene terephthalate used was formed from macromolecules with a wide molecular weight distribution as in Example 1. The stiffening of the membrane at a pressing temperature of 130 ° C was less than in Example 1, but the other microfiltration capabilities of the membrane were retained.

The nanofiber layer used was the same as in Examples 1, 2 and 3, but a nonwoven fabric prepared from a mixture of polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate staple, prepared in a fiber weight ratio of 65:35, with a total basis weight of 30 g / m 2 was used as a backing substrate. The polyethylene terephthalate fibers used were made of a polymer with a wide molecular weight distribution. The solidification of the filter material was less than in Example 1, but by pressing at a temperature of 140 ° C and a pressure of 0.4 MPa, a material with good compatibility with the nanostructure and collapsible on commercial devices was prepared.
The base nonwoven fabric used was the same as in Example 1, but the nanofiber layer was alternatively made of polymer-based nanofibers from the group consisting of polyurethanes, polylactic acid, polyamide 6, polyacrylonitrile, cellulose acetate, polystyrene, polysulfone and polyethersulfone.
8. Dvouvrstvý materiál byl slisován a následně vyhlazen při teplotě 80 °C a tlaku 0,1 MPa.The filtration membrane was prepared by layering polyvinylidene fluoride nanofibers with a basis weight of 2.3 g / m 2 on a polypropylene spunbond fabric with a basis weight of 50 g / m 2 and a molar mass distribution corresponding to the DSC record in Fig. 8. The bilayer material was pressed and subsequently smoothed at 80 ° C and a pressure of 0.1 MPa.
Another example of a filter material has a multilayer structure which is formed as a sandwich with a layered nonwoven fabric of polyethylene terephthalate fibers with a wide molecular weight distribution as in Example 1 and a basis weight of 50 g / m 2 - nonwoven nanotextile of polyvinylidene fluoride nanofibers - nonwoven fabric of polyethylene terephthalate fibers with a wide molar mass distribution as in Example 1 and a basis weight of 50 g / m 2 . Such significantly solidified material can be used for microfiltration of liquids at elevated pressure.
Dle obsahu nanovláken od 0,1 do 4 g/m2 lze takto připravit materiály pro filtraci vzduchu ve filtračních třídách od F9 doU16.The eighth example of technical evaluation describes a filter material for air filtration with a multilayer structure, which is formed as a sandwich with a layer composition of nonwoven fabric of polyethylene terephthalate fibers with a wide molecular weight distribution as in Example 1 and a basis weight of 50 g / m 2 - nonwoven nanotextile from polyvinylidene fluoride nanofibers viscose nonwoven fabric with a basis weight of 30 g / m 2 . This material can be used for folding (Fig. 9) into air filters with increased efficiency of capturing ultrafine particles. Depending on the content of nanofibers from 0.1 to 4 g / m 2, it is possible to prepare materials for air filtration in filtration classes from F9 to U16.
Výchozí filtrační materiál popsaný v tomto příkladu s 2,5 g/m2 z polyvinylidenfluoridových nanovláken má v planámím stavu filtrační účinnost dle EN143 vyšší než 99,999 % a tlakovou ztrátu při rychlosti proudění 30 1/min nižší než 300 Pa. Obdobný filtrační materiál na bázi borosilikátových mikrovláken, hromadně využívaný pro průmyslovou výrobu vzduchových filtrů, vykazuje stejnou filtrační účinnost, ale dosahuje tlakovou ztrátu více než 400 Pa čili vyšší o více než 30 %.The starting filter material described in this example with 2.5 g / m 2 of polyvinylidene fluoride nanofibers has a flame filtration efficiency according to EN143 higher than 99.999% and a pressure drop at a flow rate of 30 1 / min lower than 300 Pa. A similar filter material based on borosilicate microfibers, widely used for the industrial production of air filters, shows the same filtration efficiency, but achieves a pressure loss of more than 400 Pa or higher by more than 30%.
Po aplikaci polymemího filtračního materiálu dle tohoto příkladu s nanovlákny do skládaného filtru - plisování do skladů výšky 12 mm, fixací skladů (obr. 9), vyřezání do potřebného tvaru a zalití do pouzdra, zůstává filtrační účinnost hotového filtru vyšší než 99,99 %, avšak tlaková ztráta klesne na 60 Pa.After application of the polymeric filter material according to this example with nanofibers to the folded filter - pleating into folds 12 mm high, fixing the folds (Fig. 9), cutting to the required shape and pouring into the case, the filtration efficiency of the finished filter remains higher than 99.99%, however, the pressure drop drops to 60 Pa.

The same composition of sandwich material as in Example 8, but instead of viscose nonwoven fabric, polypropylene spunbond and meltblown fabrics with basis weights from 15 to 70 g / m 2 were used . Compared to brittle borosilicate materials, polymer filters have better resistance to folding damage due to their elasticity.

The same composition of filter material as in Examples 1 to 3, but the polyethylene terephthalate nonwoven fabric or fabric used as the backing material was prepared from a mixture of two polyethylene terephthalate polymers with different polymerization stages. Polyethylene terephthalate prepared with a lower degree of polymerization, and thus with a lower molecular weight, acts in the fibers as a lower melting polymer providing a temperature modification of the backing fabric which is the subject of this patent.
Spodní polyethylentereftalátová síť byla charakterizována plošnou hmotností 24 g/m2, otevřenou plochu 69 %, tloušťkou 110 pm, velikostí čtvercových ok 240 pm a průměrem nitě v osnově i útku 55 pm. Horní polyethylentereftalátová síť měla velikost čtvercových ok 1000 pm a průměr nitě v osnově i útku 200 pm. Účinnost záchytu 70 nm v oblasti maximálně penetrující velikosti částic měřená dle EN 1822 byla 10 % při čelní rychlosti vzduchu 5,7 cm/s odpovídající průtoku vzduchu 30 l/m2h.A window net for capturing a high proportion of ultrafine particles and bacteria from the air was prepared in a sandwich arrangement of two polyester nets with a middle layer of polyvinylidene fluoride nanofibers with a basis weight of 0.06 g / m 2 , corresponding to a pressure loss of 8 Pa at an air flow of 30 l / m 2 h. The lower polyethylene terephthalate network was characterized by a basis weight of 24 g / m 2 , an open area of 69%, a thickness of 110 μm, a square mesh size of 240 μm and a yarn diameter in the warp and weft of 55 μm. The upper polyethylene terephthalate net had a square mesh size of 1000 μm and a yarn diameter in the warp and weft of 200 μm. Both nets were made of polyethylene terephthalate with a wide molecular weight distribution. The three-layer window net was prepared by pressing between two heated rollers at a temperature of 140 ° C and a pressure of 0.4 KPa. The capture efficiency of 70 nm in the region of maximum penetrating particle size measured according to EN 1822 was 10% at a frontal air velocity of 5.7 cm / s corresponding to an air flow of 30 l / m 2 h.
