Abstract

The body (2) of a simple mobile phone (1) has a substantially flat-shaped sandwich structure and includes a space for storing the technology module (4) of the telephone (1). The body (2) comprises at least one support layer (3) provided with at least one recess (5) for receiving the technology module (4) of the telephone (1). The recess (5) is open at least towards one surface of the support layer (3). The carrier layer (3) is covered on the open side of the recess (5) by a covering layer (6) whose thickness (t) is smaller than the thickness (T) of the carrier layer (3). It is a further object of the present invention to provide a simple mobile phone (1) with such a body (2) and a method of manufacturing a simple mobile phone (1) with a substantially flat shape body (2) comprising a support layer (3). The support layer (3) is made of a compact flat blank (7). At least one recess (5) is formed in the support layer (3), which is open to at least one surface of the support layer (3). The technology module (4) of the phone (1) is inserted into the recess (5). The support layer (3) is covered by a cover layer (6) at least on the open side of the recess (5) to form a sandwich structure, the thickness (t) of which is less than the thickness (T) of the support layer (3).

Field of technology

The invention relates to the body of a simple mobile phone, which has a sandwich construction of an essentially flat shape and in which a space for storing the technological module of the phone is arranged. The invention further relates to a simple mobile phone with such a body. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method of manufacturing such a simple mobile phone.

Current state of the art

Currently, mobile phones are being produced that are increasingly sophisticated, more complex and have more functions) The disadvantages in the production of such mobile phones, known as smartphones, are that the design of the devices is complex and correspondingly high production costs. The production and disposal of these phones creates a large amount of waste, smartphones need to be powered by larger batteries that contain heavy metals, and the energy-intensive production is also an environmental burden, while they become technically obsolete quickly. Another disadvantage lies in the expensive service, and in the considerable demands for careful handling of the device. Last but not least, smartphones are a target for thieves and due to their price, they can also be a target for violent crimes, robberies and assaults.

For situations in which modern devices are inadequate, there are disposable cell phones on the market that are only used to make calls and are inexpensive.

Document GB 2443566 describes a disposable mobile phone made of recyclable material, which is capable of connecting only outgoing calls and has a fixed limit of loaded credit. After the credit is used up, the user gets rid of the phone. However, this document does not deal with the phone's actual construction in detail.

Document GB 2376844 describes a mobile device which is arranged in a case

swivel hinge. The case must be opened for use and thus the phone is activated for a limited number of calls. Once the phone credit is used up, it can no longer be used and the user disposes of it. The disadvantage of such a phone is its relatively complex construction of two parts connected by a hinge. Another shortcoming of the phone is its activation by opening and turning the two parts of the case, which starts draining the phone's battery continuously. The last disadvantage of the mentioned solution is that the design of the body does not allow simple printing of the phone body on a regular printer and due to the design of the phone, it is not possible to optimally use the entire surface of the phone body for printing.

Document GB 2262685 describes a disposable mobile phone for a limited number of uses. This document deals with the arrangement and function of the technology module of the phone and not the construction of its body.

A common disadvantage of known disposable mobile phones is the construction of their bodies, which is solved by gluing electronic phone components to a support plate, which is surrounded by a paper shell with holes for buttons, sound and possibly a light element or display. The body of the phone peels off, gets wrinkled and takes up quite a lot of space. The assembly of this phone is difficult and therefore the assembly costs are high. The bodies of known simple mobile phones are expensive and unsuitable for low-cost production in small series.

The task of the invention is to create a body of a simple mobile phone, a simple mobile phone with such a body and a method of manufacturing such a simple mobile phone, which would eliminate the above-mentioned shortcomings of known solutions, in particular, it would be cheap, reliable, and could be easily transported and stored. The body of the phone should be more resistant to creases, suitable for longer use and should allow the specification of the phone according to the user's wishes. The phone should be easy to assemble and suitable for cheap printing even in small series.

The stated task is solved by the body of a simple mobile phone, which has a sandwich construction of essentially flat shape and in which a space is arranged for storing the technological module of the phone, according to the invention, the essence of which is that it includes at least one supporting layer, provided with at least one recess for storage of the technology module of the telephone, wherein the recess is open towards at least one surface of the carrier layer. The carrier layer is covered on the open side of the recess with a cover layer, the thickness of which is smaller than the thickness of the carrier layer.

The body of the simple mobile phone according to the invention is resistant to creasing, is suitable for long-term use and can be made relatively cheaply in any shape according to the user's wishes.

According to a preferred embodiment, the recess in the carrier layer is continuous.

The above-mentioned task is further solved by a simple mobile phone, including a body of a sandwich structure of essentially flat shape and a technological module of the phone according to the invention is arranged in the body, the essence of which is that the body includes at least one supporting layer, provided with at least one recess, open in at least one direction to one surface of the carrier layer. The technology module of the phone is stored in the recess. The carrier layer is covered on the open side of the recess with a cover layer, the thickness of which is smaller than the thickness of the carrier layer.

A simple mobile phone according to the invention is cheap, reliable, easy to carry and store. It is easy to produce and suitable for cheap printing even in small series.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the technological module of the electronic hotel card and/or the technological module of the electronic payment card are stored in the body.

The method of manufacturing a simple mobile phone according to the invention allows them to make mobile phones of any shape easily and cheaply.

According to a preferred embodiment, a recess in the carrier layer is created as a passage, the technological module of the phone is inserted into the recess, and the carrier layer is covered on both sides of the recess with a cover layer whose thickness is smaller than the thickness of the carrier layer to create a sandwich structure.

According to another advantageous embodiment, a set of recesses is created in the compact blank of the carrier layer. Phone technology modules are inserted into all recesses. Examples of implementation of the invention

Fig. 1 shows a simple mobile phone 1_ in an exploded state. The body 2 of such a simple mobile phone 1 has a sandwich construction of an essentially flat shape, which includes a support layer 3 (see Fig. 2), provided with a recess 5 for storing the technological module 4 of the phone 1.

The recess 5 in the carrier layer 3 is continuous in the shown embodiment (see Fig. 1 and 2), but in some embodiments, the recess 5 can only be open towards one surface of the carrier layer 3.

The carrier layer 3 is covered on both sides of the recess 5 by a cover layer 6, the thickness of which t is smaller than the thickness T of the carrier layer 3.

In the shown embodiment, the carrier layer 3 is made of cardboard and the cover layers 6 are made of paper. Of course, both the supporting layer 3 and the covering layers 6 can consist of several layers, and not only cellulose-based materials can be used, but any other materials, especially those that are cheap and easy to process, for example plastic, etc.

A simple mobile phone 1 according to Fig. 1 with such a body 2 has a technological module 4 of the telephone 1 stored in the recess 5 of the carrier layer 3. It is clear to experts that any known technological module 4 of the telephone 1 can be used, the specific configuration being determined by the required functions, which has a mobile phone 1_ fill. The design of the technological module 4 of the telephone 1 according to Fig. 1 includes a control module 13 with a battery, a speaker 10 and a keyboard 8, which has twelve control buttons 9. The simplest design it can only have a single control button 9 (see Fig. 4). Most simple mobile phones 1 are produced with a pair of control buttons 9 (see Fig. 5). The technological modules 4 of the telephone 1 according to Fig. 1 and 3 are further equipped with a microphone H, which is connected to the control module 13 by means of a wire 12.

The control button 9 or the keyboard 8 can be directly part of the covering layer 6.

In the upper cover layer 6, a microphone hole 15 and a speaker hole 16 are also formed for the input or output of sound waves.

In the advantageous embodiment, shown in Fig. 6, the entire lower covering layer is formed by the photovoltaic cell 14.

A simple mobile phone 1 according to Fig. 1 has a body 2 in the shape of a business card. The cover layer 6 can be provided with any print, or even characters in Braille can be printed or pressed into it.

In more expensive versions, the phone 1. can be equipped with any of the known devices used in mobile phones, for example an interface 18 for connecting external devices, an LED diode 17 for signaling phone activation/deactivation, etc.

The simplest version of the phone 1. according to Fig. 4 with a single control button 9, does not contain a SIM card, but only a SIM card chip, which is integrated directly into the phone circuit. A call to a single preset number is activated by pressing button 9. This turns on the phone /, registers in the network, dials the preset number and then connects the call. To end a call, pressing the 9 button ends the call and the phone disconnects from the network and turns off, so it stops consuming power.

More common is the design of the phone 1 according to Fig. 5, which has two control buttons 9. By pressing one button 9, the phone 1 is switched on and registered in the network, the preset number is dialed and the call is connected. To end the call, pressing the second button 9 puts the call on hold, the phone 1 disconnects from the network and stops consuming any energy.

The embodiment according to Fig. 1 and 6 with a classic keyboard 8 functions like a commonly known mobile phone.

The mobile phone 1 according to the non-illustrated embodiment can additionally fulfill the function of an electronic hotel card or an electronic payment card. Such embodiments have a technological module of an electronic hotel card or an electronic payment card stored in the body 2, for example in the form of a magnetic stripe, chip, wireless technology, etc.

The method of manufacturing such a simple mobile phone 1 includes the following steps:

In the production of the body 2 of the phone 1, not only cellulose-based materials such as paper, cardboard and cardboard can be used, but any other materials, especially those that are cheap and easy to process, for example plastic, etc.
