Náboje s jednou pryžovou střelou se doposud vyrábějí zejména pro revolvery, kde není opakovači funkce požadovaná, respektive je zajištěna otáčením válce. Při použití v pistolích není zajištěna opakovači funkce a dochází k pravidelným selháním. Nábojnice po výstřelu zůstává v komoře, případně se skřípne ve výhozním okénku a musí se vyměnit ručně. Náboj je podle norem C.I.P. proveden tak, že brok z nábojnice vyčnívá velmi málo, je v ní takřka utopen, a okraj nábojnice má jeden poměrně ostrý rádius. Při zatlačení na brok lze tento do nábojnice zatlačit. Protože používané zbraně pro tyto náboje nejsou nijak zvlášť upraveny může dojít k záměně za ostrý náboj například 9 mm Br. a následnému neštěstí.Up to now, bullets with one rubber bullet are mainly produced for revolvers, where the repetition function is not required, or is ensured by the rotation of the cylinder. Podstatou technického řešení, které tyto uvedené nevýhody odstraňuje, je upravená nábojnice 9 mm P.A., která zajišťuje plnou funkci zbraně tj. opakování. Nábojnice se uvnitř směrem ke dnu kuželovité zužuje aje provedena se silnější stěnou u dna.
