Technical field

The invention relates to a small-diameter knitting machine for reversible knitting of the heel of a sock knitted fabric on a knitting machine, the heel consisting of two wedge parts, the first of which is formed by the needles and the second by their re-adding.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Small diameter knitting machines for the manufacture of sock goods are known in which the wedge heel or toe is formed in a return knitting system. The stitching is handled by the ejectors that move the needles to the non-working instep position, which is higher than the needles closing position. When needles are added, the picked needles are then returned to the knitting path by means of a puller. Heel thus knitted has a very good quality, especially in the area of the run. The disadvantage of this solution is that the device is space-intensive, which prevents multiple knitting systems from being arranged around the needle cylinder.

Further, small diameter knitting machines are known in which the return heel knitting system is not equipped with a puller and ejector, but the picking and adding of the needles takes place from the selection patterning device. In this knitting method, the instep needles are moved in the lower non-working position and the withdrawn needles pass through their knees under the retractable locks in both directions of the needle cylinder rotation. As a result, the eyelets are constantly tensioned and released, and the eyelets are excessively stressed and damaged. In order to overcome this problem, the heel is knitted so that on a needle adjacent to the needle knitting the last eyelet of one heel row and then the first eyelet of the next heel row, they knit like a catch. This solution will ensure a certain coupling freedom in close proximity to the jams, which will equalize the undesirable stresses and thereby not damage the last stitch loops. These catch eyelets are confused both when taking and adding, ie in all rows of wedge heels. Although this solution eliminates excessive stress on the scratches, it is nevertheless an interference with the weave structure in close proximity to the scratches, which in a way damages their appearance. This device also requires additional patterning devices.

The task of the technical solution is to eliminate the above mentioned deficiencies.

The essence of the technical solution

Example of technical solution

The known, electronically controlled, small diameter, six-system hosiery knitting machine is adapted to knit in both directions of the needle cylinder 81 in all knitting systems to which symmetrically oriented double-sided triangular retract locks 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 These pivoting butts 85 are mounted on fixed needles 83, being part of the needle tracks 84, pivotally mounted beneath the needles 83.
