Abstract

The invention is related to the production of construction materials and health services mainly with the specialties of Orthopedics, Traumatology and Dentistry, as well as with the respective surgeries (in the categories of orthopedic plaster for use in bandages plastered and as a dental plaster).

Special alpha hemihydrates have the problem that the use of moist atmosphere and additives is necessary to obtain them, as well as temperature and high pressures, all this makes technological processes complicated .

The essential characteristics of the invention to solve this problem consist in obtaining special alpha and beta calcium sulfate hemihydrates from gypsum ore with a SO3 content between 38-46.5% without requirement of humid atmosphere or additives by means of a cooking process at a temperature between 140-180 ° C for a time between 1-3 hours.
