Abstract

The invention relates to the fields of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, Angiology and Endocrinology. The objectives of the proposed solution are the accelerated healing of pressure ulcers and, in general, of other types of ulcers, as well as the healing of post-surgical wounds, such as fistulas. It refers to the use of a microprocessor-based apparatus for the generation of electrical stimuli that can be biphasic or of another type and that are used in the healing of biological tissues, using a plurality of non-invasive electrodes, conveniently placed in relation to the surface and edges of the lesion and with a way of applying the treatment in which each pair of electrodes is stimulated in such a way that the signals never coincide in time, preventing the flow of current between the electrodes corresponding to different outlet channels .
