Abstract
Degradation of complexing agents contained in wastewaters of industrial productions is significantly accelerated by irradiating these substances by UV-VIS radiation in presence of catalytic quantity of metal (iron, copper, nickel) ions. The degradation consists in oxidation of complexing substances by oxygen or by oxygen with initiating addition of hydrogen peroxide.
