Abstract

The transcutaneous probe serves in medicine in connection with the evaluation device to measure the partial pressure of blood gases by a painless non-invasive manner. It can be also used in laboratory and industrial application for determination of the gas content, especially of oxygen in the liquid and fluid media at the temperature from 0 to 80 degrees C. The probe structure is based on the use of the transistor or metal packaged integrated circuit, while one uses some PN transitions of the semiconductor system (5) to heat the probe for the operational temperature and to measure this probe and also a wire inlet (6, 7, 8) as the inlet (6) to the cathode (4) after disconnecting the semiconductor system (5). This method substantially decreases material and technological demands and labour content during the industrial construction of the probe in comparison with other types. The proposed design is especially suitable for producers without specific technological equipment.<IMAGE>
