Abstract
The solution concerns polymers containing repeating capryloyloxyalkylacrylate structure units of general formula I, where R is alkylene with 2 to 6 carbon atoms and possibly of vinyl chloride unit, selected from the group comprising copolymers of units of general formula I, statistic copolymers of units of general formula I and vinyl chloride and grafted copolymers obtained by grafted polymerization of vinyl chloride to polycapryloyloxyalkylacrylate substrate. The method of preparation of these polymers consists in the fact that in conditions of radical polymerization, to advantage in the solution or water dispersions, capryloyloxyalkylacrylates of general formula I are polymerized or they are copolymerized with vinyl chloride at a temperature of 0 to 80 degrees C to conversions of 55 to 94 percent, mainly 70 to 90 percent, or, in conditions of radical polymerization the vinyl chloride is polymerized in presence of polycapryloyloxyalkylacrylates of general formula I, where R is the same or different alkylene group containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms at a temperature of 0 to 80 degrees C in conversions of 55 to 94 percent. The capryloyloxyalkylacrylates are dosed on the beginning and/or during copolymerization process, optimally with addition of known regulators of molecular weights.<IMAGE>
