Abstract
The solution concerns a mixed polypropylene-polyester fibre with matrix-fibrils structure, suitable for preparation of ultra fine polyester fibres intended for production of textile fabrics with improved superficial properties, leather fabric or possibly of filtration and insulation materials. The principle of the solution consists in the fact that it contains in polypropylene matrix a redispersed polyester phase with molar weight of 17,000 to 35,000 in the form of microfibres with thickness of 0.3 to 1 micrometers in the amount of 10 to 60 percent by weight and possibly of 0.05 to 5 percent by weight of interphase agent based on polypropylene copolymer.
