Abstract

In order to allow, especially for filter covers, insertion of filter cells (20) into a receiving frame (10) from the air outlet side in such a way that the necessary sealing of the inserted filter cell (20) is ensured and the insertion and removal or exchange of the filter cell (20) can be carried out in a simple manner, the filter cell (20) is provided on the air outlet-side end face (21.1) of the cell side walls (21) forming the cell frame with an all-round gasket (24; 25) which interacts with a sealing flange (14) joined to the receiving frame (10) and providing a seal against it, and the filter cell (20) is fixed in the filter frame (10) by fixing means formed as plug-in elements (31; 32), which can be plugged almost positively through orifices (24) in air outlet-side extensions (23.2) of the cell side walls (21) and whose outward-projecting parts can be placed upon a support edge (13) which forms the fixing abutment, is located on the receving frame (10) on the air outlet side and projects towards the filter cell (20), the orifices (24) being preferably provided in the two long cell sides (21) and at least close to the ends thereof. <IMAGE>
