Abstract

The solution deals with the hip joint endoprosthesis of the hybrid type, intended for use as partial or total substitution and with anchorage in the thigh-bone either by means of bone cement or without it. The gist of the solution lies in the fact that the endoprosthesis is formed by the metal tight shank (1) of the tetrahedral profile, which is, in its upper widening part (2), structured by the fixation grooves (3) and equipped with the leading eye (4) with a neck (5), which forms an angle α = 40 to 55 degrees with the horizontal, while it passes from the conical section into the conical ending (6) for the replaceable joint head. The endoprosthesis can be used in surgery for partial and total operations on the hip joint.<IMAGE>
