Abstract

The solution concerns a device for cleaning, rinsing and disinfecting livestock before and after milking. It consists of a tubular frame structure in the middle of which there is a step platform bordered by entrance barriers and on the step platform there are adjustable nozzles controlled by a pair of photoelectric light sensors which are placed together with light sources both on separate stands. A dairy cow, which by entering the step platform interrupts the light beam from the light sources and the executive element turns on the supply of washing or disinfecting solution to the nozzles which spray the udder of the dairy cow.

The invention relates to an apparatus for the automatic cleaning, rinsing and disinfection of farm animals. The device deals with the washing and disinfection of udders by the prewashing or disinfection after milking, especially as a protection against mastitis.

So far, the cleaning, rinsing and disinfection of livestock udders in dojarnych with the high throughput of dairy cows is a great support for manual labor, where the quality of the work is dependent on human factors. Devices are known which operate mechanically in the purification of udders, such as devices based on the principle of vertical, inclined or copying rotary brushes and with inlet or disinfectant. Also known is a device which operates on the principle of spraying the udders with pressurized water, the spray head of which is height adjustable. Further, there are known devices with an ore spray head with a supply of disinfectant or water adapted for this purpose.

At present, disinfection of mastitis udders is still widely used for large-scale disinfection, i.e. by wiping or wiping with wipes dipped in a disinfectant. In some cases, a large container plant is used in large scale plants, the upper vessel being open and the lower vessel, which is usually of compressible plastic, filled with disinfectant solution. By sliding the upper teat container and pressing the lower container, the disinfectant solution rises to the upper container, where it rinses the inserted teat.

Said devices have a number of disadvantages that make their use in current milk shops problematic. Devices using both a washing and cleaning brush unit cause rotations to damage the udders and the resulting loss of milk yield. The equipment working on the principle of pressurized water with its design does not satisfy the high-capacity dairy because it is designed for stationary cows and does not allow this operation to be carried out with the smooth movement of the cow. The above drawbacks are eliminated by the automatic cleaning, rinsing and disinfecting device of farm animals according to the invention.
