Description
The invention relates to a device for photometric, turbidimetric and fluorimetric measurements in microplates.
Folomelry is a frequently used instrumental method of chemical laboratories. It uses the ability of substances to absorb light of a certain wavelength. The absorption rate is proportional to the layer thickness of the substance to be measured and its concentration. This phenomenon can be used for analytical purposes in determining the concentration of substances. The photometer consists of a light source, most often a halogen bulb, providing an intense beam of white light. The prism or the grid or filter divides the beam of a certain wavelength from the entire spectrum and leads it to the cuvette using the optical path. If there is a sample in the cuvette that is capable of absorbing radiation at the source of the emitted wavelength, light will be lost. The optical path directs the beam at the photoelectric cell. The electrical signal is then proportional to the amount of light absorbed and thus the concentration of the substance to be measured.
The plane of the beam passing through the sample is parallel to the plane of the sample level in those cases where the cuvette is a single vessel. In cases where photometric measurements need to be performed in a microplate, a cuvette system of 96 cells arranged in an 8x12 matrix, the beam plane cannot be parallel to the specimen level. The beam plane must be rotated 90 ° C so that it extends perpendicular to the plane of the specimen level. In contrast to the mentioned solution, it is necessary to complement the optical path with a mirror or a prism so that the beam can be aimed at the sample surface in the cuvette. The construction of such a photometer can be simplified by replacing the light source and the optical path to the cuvette described by a LED light emitting radiation of a certain wavelength. However, this solution is difficult to implement in view of the unavailability of light-emitting diodes that emit light with the required wavelength. However, a simple device is also dedicated.
The aforementioned drawbacks are eliminated by the photometric, turbidimetric and fluorimetric measurement device according to the invention, characterized in that the source of the light guide is connected to the light source, its output is connected to the input of the sensor light guide at the conical end, the light guide and the light guide are attached a photoelectric cell is mounted in the connecting arm with the hinge and at the exit of the sensor light guide, with a microplate mounted on the guide plate. A mirror is located in the guide plate in the space below the conical end of the light guides.
Uvedené řešení lze využít k jednoduché konstrukci přídavného zařízení k fotometrům proThis solution can be used for simple construction of additional equipment for photometers for

The entrance of the light guide 2 is fixed to the light source slot 1. The output of the light guide 2 is connected to the input of the light guide 5 at the conical end 9. The light guide 2 and the light guide 5 are mounted in the connecting arm 7 with the hinge 8. A microplate 3 is placed on the guide plate 4. a photoelectric cell 6 is attached to the output of the sensor light guide 5.
