The present invention relates to a polyvinyl acetate dispersion adhesive comprising 5.0 to 7.0 wt. carboxymethylcellulose, based on the weight of the polyvinyl acetate dispersion having a dynamic viscosity of 2.5 to 8 Pa. s, 50.0 to 90.0 wt. polyvinyl acetate dispersion with a dynamic viscosity of 1.5 to 13 Pa. s, with a dry matter content of 55 + 1.5% by weight. with a pH of 3 to 5 and a residue of up to 100% by weight. water. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a polyvinyl acetate dispersion-based adhesive for bonding lenses, which can be used to bond lenses in KB 400 or L-type machines. in lining units.
Duviiax BD 20 polyvinyl acetate dispersion has previously been used to bond the lining in said apparatuses. For more sophisticated publications made on surfactant paper, polyvinyl acetate dispersion adhesive was used to bond the lenses.
Duviiax BD 20 polyvinyl acetate dispersion has several drawbacks in terms of use in the printing industry. These are unusually qualitative parameters, the dispersion has to be treated before use, the adhesive on the faces of the application disk dries. Furthermore, it is a low initial dispersion tack as well as an impurity content.
The above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated by the polyvinyl acetate dispersion adhesive according to the invention, which comprises 5.0 to 7.0 wt. carboxymethylcellulose based on the weight of the polyvinyl acetate dispersion having a dynamic viscosity of 2.5 to 8 Pa. s, 50.0 to 90.0 wt. polyvinyl acetate dispersion with a dynamic viscosity of 1.5 to 13 Pa. with a dry matter content of 55 ± 1.5% and a pH of 3 to 5 and a residue of up to 100% by weight. water.
The adhesive of the invention need not be diluted with water or otherwise treated prior to use. It perfectly wipes the surface of natural as well as surface-treated papers, the initial tack of the adhesive as well as the bond strength in both cases are good. The application of the adhesive can be easily controlled. The adhesive is stable to -5 T.
This example illustrates, but does not limit the invention. i ', Example
30 kg of Duviiax BD 20 polyvinyl acetate dispersion, filtered through a sieve with a diameter of 6k 2 mm, was charged into the mixing kettle. To the dispersion, a 10% solution of carboxymethylcellulose in an amount of 1.5 kg per weight of dispersion was gradually added with stirring. The adhesive was well mixed.
Dynamic viscosity. the adhesive ranged from 3,200 to 3,600 mPa. with.
The glue was used to bond the lenses (natural paper of 120 g / m 2) to both natural and surface-fed paper.
The appearance and adhesion of the adhesive was good even after one year. The adhesive life is six months.
