Pri zvyšovaní počtu zdvihov u klukového lisu dochádza pri uložení klukového hriadela v klasických válcových klzných ložiskách k zvýšenému opotrebeniu nástroja v dosledku poměrně velkej ložiskovej vole. Je známe riešenie tejto nepriaznivej situácie pomocou tzv. citrónových ložísk.
