Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a device for registering poultry on a conveyor line in a straight or curved section of a conveyor path.

At present, devices consisting of a frame, a system of rigid strips deflecting the poultry carcasses on the stirrups from a vertical position and a pulse are used to register poultry suspended from the feet in the stirrups of the slaughter conveyor of the carcass and drifting on the straight section of the overhead conveyors of the carcass. a bias sensor, whose signals are then recorded by the recording apparatus. Individual poultry pieces have irregular shape, different weight and different coefficients of friction due to contamination and unequal moisture, which often causes unequal movement during guidance, as well as shaking and swinging of the curtains in the transverse and longitudinal directions, especially at higher speeds of the overhead conveyor.

This results in relatively frequent non-registration of poultry by a sensor, or occasionally double registration, i. j. undesirable errors of the registered number of workpieces. To provide greater guidance, the guide bars are relatively long and are hung on two vertical brackets, which increases the overall dimensions of the device.

In case of accidental large swiveling of the poultry in the transverse direction, the poultry or curtains may be caught by some part of the device, in particular the guide rails. Apparatus for registering poultry suspended in stirrups of an overhead conveyor, e.g. on the left, they must be different from the poultry equipment suspended from the right.

The above-mentioned drawbacks are overcome by the poultry registration device of the invention.

The principle of the device consists in that the frame is provided on the lower side with a vertical long bracket on one side, on which there are spacer rings, between which a horizontally deflecting fowl wheel with grooves on the periphery is mounted. On the other hand, the frame at the bottom is provided with a vertical short bracket on which a sliding or rotatably mounted sliding sleeve of a pouch pulse sensor holder is attached.

The poultry registration device according to the invention ensures accurate registration of the number of poultry pieces processed on the overhead conveyor, even at high conveyor speeds, since the poultry rests on the deflection wheel during the passage, is continuously carried and does not oscillate.

The device is relatively small and compact. It is easy to install and set up and is easy to maintain. The device is universally, the same device can be used to register poultry attached to the pendant conveyor hinges, hitch or message, and also on a straight and curved section of the pendant conveyor track. There is no danger of trapping poultry or poultry, even in the event of a large accidental transverse swing.

The deflected hinge rods 8 are registered by the pulse sensor 3. As long as there is no poultry 11 on the hinge 8, it is not deflected and registered when passing through the device. At least 2 pieces of poultry 11 are almost always supported in the grooves of the deflection wheel 5, so that the rotation of the deflection wheel 5 is uniform and continuous and the hinges 8 do not swing.
