Description
Vynález se týká způsobu výroby drátu z kovů s malou pevností v tahu, například vizmutu, oprůměru 0,1 až 2 mm.The invention relates to a process for producing a wire of low tensile strength metal, for example bismuth, with a diameter of 0.1 to 2 mm.
High-pressure tools are used in the manufacture of synthetic diamonds and cubic boron nitride or parts thereof. For the indirect pressure detection within these high-pressure tools, i.e. the so-called pressure calibration, bismuth should be used, preferably in the form of a wire with a diameter of 0.5 to 1 mm. It uses the properties of bismuth - changes in its electrical resistance as a function of pressure. However, the conventional method of producing wires, i.e., rolling, drawing or conventional extrusion, cannot be used in the production of bismuth wire, since the bismuth has the very unfavorable mechanical properties required for these methods of wire production. Under normal conditions it is brittle and has low tensile strength. Therefore, it is not used for construction purposes and does not produce profiles and wires.
The disadvantages of the above-mentioned disadvantages are eliminated by the method of producing a wire of low tensile strength, for example bismuth, with a diameter of 0.1 to 2 mm according to the invention, which is characterized in that the bismuth casting is surface degreased , which are heated to 300 [deg.] C. and then cooled below the melting point to form an ingot which is extruded.
Advances in the process of the present invention are that the process of the present invention is to make a wire from a brittle and low tensile material such as bismuth. The preparation of the material for the production of bismuth wire by extrusion is simple. For the production of a small amount of bismuth wire, the proposed tool is structurally simple and sufficient for the intended purpose.
The lack of bismuth wire is solved by the present invention by extrusion making use of the fact that bismuth is partially ductile at all-round pressure. For production, a die with a cylindrical working space is used, in the bottom of which there is an opening of the shape and dimensions necessary for the resulting shape and dimension of the wire. Suitably, the opening is formed by a die core for conventional drawing of wires inserted at the bottom of the die. The working area of the die must be filled with absolutely perfectly clean cracks in the form of polycrystals.
To je možné provést dvěma způsoby: a) do průtlačnice, zahřáté na teplotu nižší, než je teplota tání vizmutu, to je pod 271 stupňů Celsia, vlejeme roztavený vizmut a necháme jej ztuhnout,This can be done in two ways: a) Pour the molten bismuth into the extruder heated to a temperature lower than the melting point of bismuth, that is below 271 degrees Celsius, and allow it to solidify,
b) do průtlačnice zahřáté na teplotu těsně nad teplotou tání vizmutu, to je nad 271 stupňů Celsia, vsypeme kusový vizmut o velikosti částic s výhodou 10 mm a necháme jej roztavit teplem průtlačnice. Potom průtlačnici ochladíme pouze tak, aby tekutý vizmut ztuhl.b) into a die which is heated to a temperature just above the melting point of the bismuth, i.e. above 271 degrees Celsius, pour the lump bismuth having a particle size of preferably 10 mm and let it melt by the heat of the die. Then cool the die only so that the liquid bismuth solidifies.
Now, preferably immediately, at temperatures close to the melting point of the bismuth, we push it through the punch through the hole in the die.
Příklad 1Example 1
Výroba vizmutového drátu o průměru 0,6 milimetru pro nepřímou tlakovou kalibraci vysokotlakých nástrojů. Požadavek — vyrobit drátky o délce 10 až 50 mm.Production of 0.6 mm bismuth wire for indirect pressure calibration of high-pressure tools. Requirement - to produce wires with a length of 10 to 50 mm.
Použitý nástroj — ocelová průtlačnice s válcovým pracovním prostorem (o průměru 6 mm a hloubce 25 mm], na jehož dně je otvor o průměru 2 mm, do průtlačnice je vloženo ocelové kalené jádro (průměr 6 mm, výška 5 mmj běžného průvlaku pro tažení drátů s otvorem o průměru 0,6 mm, ocelový válcový průtlačník o průměru 6 rpilimetrů a délce 25 mm.Used tool - steel die with cylindrical working space (diameter 6 mm and depth 25 mm), with a hole of diameter 2 mm at the bottom, a die-hardened steel core (diameter 6 mm, height 5 mmj of common die for drawing wire) with a 0.6 mm hole, a cylindrical steel die with a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 25 mm.
Degrease the tool, crush the bismuth casting into grains up to 4 mm in size and grease from it, heat the die with the die core to a temperature of 280 to 300 ° C and pour 3.5 g of bismuth grit into the working space. Then cool the die to 200 to 250 ° C, insert the die into the die and place the whole tool under the ram, press the required bismuth wire from the die through the hole in the die through a manual screw press by gradually increasing the pressure on the die. The extrusion speed is controlled so that the output speed of the extruded wire is less than 10 cm / s. The wire breaks at higher speeds. In this way we produce about 1 to 1.5 m of bismuth wire suitable for the desired purpose.
The method can be applied in the manufacture of wire from low tensile metals.
