Lisovacie kompozície na báze nenasytených polyesterových živíc sú známe (Čs. aut. osv. č. .226 283). Priemyselne sa pripravujú najčastejšie zahuštěním polyesterovej kompozície za použitia oxidu horečnatého. Poměrně šiřoká aplikačná škála různých výrobkov na ich báze je sprevádzaná aj použitím roznych pigmentov na ich vyfarbenie. Tieto sa zvyčajne dávkujú bud ako suspenzie v esteroch, alebo polyesteroch. Z důvodu polárného charakteru anorganických pigmentov v nepolárnom roztoku nenasýtenej polyesterovej živice, sú často spojené problémy s nerovnoměrným vyfarbením povrchu lisovaných výrobkov. Prídavok různých tenzidov priamo do zmesi sa ukázal ako málo účinný, hlavně z důvodu, že anorganické pigmenty v esteroch alebo polyesteroch sú obalené vrstvou, ktorá zamedzuje styku s povrchovoaktívnou látkou.
