Zariadenie je určené na montáž a spájanie káblov nad uvedená dimenziu. Zariadenie sa skládá z priečnych rukovatí privarených na tyčkách, na ktorých sú privarené (konzoly, spojené tiahlami a zaistené čapmi, pričom predná tyčka je zakončená viídlicou, ktorej konce sú nabrúsené do tvaru dláta a zadná mierne přehnutá tyčka je zakončená tupým, hrotoon, v ktorom je vo vzdialenosti tri až pať milimetrov uchytený režný hrot.The device is designed for mounting and joining cables above that dimension.
