Abstract

The present invention provides a process for stabilising a chlorinated polyolefin present in solution, wherein a stabiliser is applied to a carrier material provided with a hardenable adhesion agent or the stabiliser is applied, together with an adhesion agent, to the carrier material, the stabiliser being present in a layer thickness of at least 0.2 mm., the adhesion agent is hardened at ambient or elevated temperature and the stabiliser thereby bound and the carrier material coated with the stabiliser is introduced into the chlorinated polyolefin present in solution.
