Vnútorné -povrchové úpravy stavebných konštrukcií tenkovrstvými omietkami sa doposial robia na stavbě stíerkovými hmotami, ktoré sa vyrábajú na báze disperzných spojiv. Dodávané sú v pastovitej konzistenci!, včetne vodnej zložky. Uvedené nedostatky rieši cementová modifikovaná hmota s obsahom dolomitického piesku, vápenného hydrátu, hydroxyetylcelulózy, prevzduŠnovadla a aktívneho kysličníka křemičitého, připravená homogenizáciou týchto zložiek v suchom stave. Vyznačuje sa tým, že obsahuje 1 až 10 % hmot. aktívneho kysličníka křemičitého vo formě vysušeného silikagelu so specifickým povrchom 20 až 300 m /1 g. Zmiešaním cementovej modifikovanej hmoty s vodnou zložkou, využívaju sa vlastnosti kysličníka křemičitého absorbovat značné množstvo vody, potrebnej k zhydratovaniu hydraulických spojiv. Uvedené komponenty sa zhomogenizujú a balia do papierových vríec a na mieste použitia sa přidá zámesová voda. Omietka sa upraví na konzistenciu 9 až 14 dielikov ponorného kužela /ČSN 72 2441/. Zvýšenie modulu pružnosti oraietky sa docieli přidáním bežne vyrábaných disperzií syntetických živíc 2 až 5 % hmot. na hmotnost zmesi.
