Abstract

La invención proporciona concentrados para reducir la pérdida de fluido en un fluido para perforación o mantenimiento de un pozo a base de petróleo, los concentrados comprenden un líquido oleaginoso y (1) un polímero que se solubiliza en el líquido oleaginoso, o (2) un polímero que se solubiliza en el líquido oleaginoso junto con un material polifenólico organófilo que se solubiliza y/o dispersa en el líquido oleaginoso. También se describe el método para preparar el concentrado y el método para reducir la pérdida de fluido de un fluido para perforación o mantenimiento de un pozo a base de petróleo utilizando los concentrados. El polímero soluble en petróleo preferido es una miga de caucho de estireno- butadieno. El líquido oleaginoso preferido es un petróleo hidrogenado libre de aromáticos que solo contiene esencialmente hidrocarburos saturados. El material polifenólico preferido es una fuente de ácido húmico, tal como lignito de cantera.
