Abstract
Se revelan electrodomésticos que comprenden tintas termocromáticas en zonas de alta visibilidad para el usuario, como mecanismo para conocer mediante simple observación su estado térmico (frío o caliente). Dichos electrodomésticos corresponden a cualquier aparato que utilice electricidad como mecanismo para generar energía térmica útil ya sea para la preparación de alimentos (sanduchera, olla arrocera, hornos, asadores), 6 para el mantenimiento del hogar (plancha, estufa, entre otros), y que por lo tanto durante su funcionamiento puedan alcanzar una temperatura peligrosa para la integridad física de las personas que los manipulen. Por su parte, las tintas termocromáticas son aplicadas en aquellas zonas de los electrodomésticos en las que el usuario pueda visualizar fácilmente el cambio de color durante su uso, así como en zonas que no entren en contacto directo con los alimentos y en donde resulte conveniente advertir la posibilidad de quemaduras por superficies calientes, lo cual, dependiendo del tipo de electrodoméstico puede ser en las superficies superior o laterales de tales aparatos.
