Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a la fabricación de un compuesto activo absorbedor de oxígeno comprendido por una sustancia absorbedora de oxígeno, compuesta por un eritorbato de sodio y una sal inorgánica de un metal de transición encapsulados por el método sol-gel en sílica. Dicho compuesto puede hacer parte de la estructura del empaque de productos sensibles a la oxidación o estar contenido en la atmósfera circundante para disminuir la concentración de oxígeno. En la invención se describe el método para la fabricación del absorbedor de oxígeno así como su encapsulamiento e incorporación en matrices poliméricas.
