Abstract

Un método para generar energia sismica para la exploracion sub-superficial que comprende:Operar un primer vibrador sismico en un cuerpo de agua y; Operar al menos un segundo vibrador sismico en el cuerpo de agua de forma sustancialmente contemporanea con la operacion del primer vibrador sismico, el primero y el segundo vibradores sismicos tienen cada uno una diferente respuesta de frecuencia seleccionada, el primero y segundo vibradores operados cada uno a una profundidad de agua tal que un eco de superficie amplifica una salida descendente de cada vibrador dentro de un rango de frecuencias seleccionado, el primero y segundo vibradores excitados cada uno por una se±al que tiene una frecuencia correspondiente a la respuesta de frecuencia del vibrador respectivo. El método de la reivindicacion 1 donde la se±al de control comprende un barrido. El método de la reivindicacion 1 donde la se±al de control para cada vibrador comprende un codigo de espectro expandido de secuencia dividida. El método de la reivindicacion 3 donde el codigo comprende por lo menos una secuencia de longitud maxima, una secuencia Gold y una secuencia Kasami. El método de la reivindicacion 1 donde cada vibrador tiene al menos dos frecuencias de resonancia en una banda de frecuencias seleccionada.
