Abstract

Un artículo absorbente unible al cuerpo que comprende: una capa de cubierta; una capa de barrera; un sistema absorbente dispuesto entre dicha capa de cubierta y dicha capa de barrera; un adhesivo aplicado a una superficie de contacto con el cuerpo de dicho artículo para asegurar dicho artículo al cuerpo; en donde el artículo absorbente tiene por lo menos una porción que satisface una de las siguientes ecuaciones: Al > 3.3-1.2 In(BW/MCB), en donde BW/MCB = 6.8; y Al > 1, en donde BW/MCB > 6.8. El artículo absorbente de conformidad con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado además porque tiene un grosor menor de 2.0 mm. El artículo absorbente de conformidad con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado además porque tiene un grosor menor de 1.5 mm. El artículo absorbente de conformidad con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado además porque dicho sistema absorbente incluye material superabsorbente.
