Abstract

Un sistema de localización de fallas en una instalación de transporte por cable comprende una unidad de seguridad (10) y un módulo final (13) conectados mediante una línea de seguridad eléctrica (11). La línea de seguridad (11) comprende una pluralidad de contactos de falla de cable (14) del tipo normalmente cerrado conectados en serie. El sistema de localización incluye una pluralidad de módulos de localización (20) distribuidos a lo largo de la instalación de transporte, cada uno de los cuales comprende un primer contacto de prueba (21), del tipo normalmente abierto, para cortocircuitar la línea de seguridad (11). Una vez detectada una falla procedente de uno de los contactos de falla de cable (14), cada módulo de localización (20) es capaz de cerrar selectivamente su primer contacto de prueba (21) para poder localizar dicho contacto averiado (14) en la línea de seguridad
