Abstract

La presente invención busca resolver los problemas de la técnica al proporcionar un dispositivo para el monitoreo nutricional de alimentos que ingiere un usuario. El dispositivo comprende un sensor de imagen configurado para capturar al menos una imagen de la ingesta de alimentos que realiza el usuario. También, el dispositivo comprende un sensor de posición configurado para obtener un dato de posición del dispositivo de monitoreo de alimentos. Asimismo, el dispositivo comprende un reloj en tiempo real configurado para generar una base de tiempo real y una unidad de procesamiento conectada al sensor de imagen, al sensor de posición y al reloj en tiempo real. El sensor de imagen captura al menos una imagen de los alimentos que ingiere el usuario de acuerdo a una orden de la unidad de procesamiento y la unidad de procesamiento genera un reporte en el que se registra la ingesta de alimentos con base a la imagen capturada por el sensor de imagen. En otra modalidad de la invención, se revela un método para el monitoreo nutricional de alimentos que ingiere un usuario y que puede comprender una etapa de enviar una orden a un sensor de imagen por medio de una unidad de procesamiento. El sensor de imagen puede activarse con base a la orden enviada por la unidad de procesamiento. Además, el método puede comprender una etapa de capturar al menos una imagen por medio del sensor de imagen y enviar dicha imagen a la unidad de procesamiento. Asimismo, el método puede incluir una etapa de recibir en la unidad de procesamiento un dato de tiempo desde un reloj en tiempo real. El dato de tiempo puede corresponder a la hora de captura en tiempo real de la imagen. Además, el método puede incluir una etapa de ejecutar por medio de la unidad de procesamiento un proceso de análisis de datos que puede comprender una subetapa de almacenar la imagen en una base de datos. La base de datos puede encontrarse almacenada en un módulo de memoria. También, el método puede comprender una subetapa de generar un dato de alimento aplicando un algoritmo de reconocimiento de objetos que puede tomar como entrada la imagen, el dato de tiempo y una pluralidad de datos de alimentación almacenada en el módulo de memoria. El algoritmo de reconocimiento de objetos puede basarse en redes neuronales convolucionales. El método puede comprender, además, una subetapa de generar un dato de factor de ajuste aplicando un proceso de análisis de probabilidad que puede tomar como entrada el dato de alimento, un perfil de usuario que puede estar almacenado en la base de datos y el dato de tiempo. Finalmente, el método puede comprender una subetapa de generar un reporte al usuario con base en el dato de alimento, el perfil de usuario y el dato de factor de ajuste.
