Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere a un dispositivo de corte modular para cirugía oftalmológica y un método para fabricar el mismo. Dicho dispositivo de corte modular para cirugía oftalmológica comprende un módulo proximal y un módulo distal. Dicho módulo proximal está configurado para conectarse una fuente de vibración de manera que una punta de corte del módulo distal vibre para causar la desintegración del tejido ocular seleccionado. Además, conectado a la punta de corte se incluye un tubo que succiona el tejido ocular desintegrado, y que presenta es su superficie externa una aleta para facilita la irrigación de un fluido hacia los tejidos oculares que se están interviniendo y que otorga dureza a dicho tubo. Adicionalmente, el método de la presente divulgación facilita la fabricación de dicho dispositivo de corte y garantiza su calidad, evitando fallas que aumenten los riesgos de la cirugía oftalmológica que se practique con el dispositivo de corte mencionado.The present disclosure relates to a modular cutting device for ophthalmic surgery and a method of manufacturing the same. Said modular cutting device for ophthalmic surgery comprises a proximal module and a distal module. Said proximal module is configured to connect a vibration source such that a cutting tip of the distal module vibrates to cause disintegration of the selected ocular tissue. In addition, connected to the cutting tip, a tube is included that sucks the disintegrated ocular tissue, and that has a flap on its external surface to facilitate the irrigation of a fluid towards the ocular tissues that are being intervened and that gives said tube hardness. . Additionally, the method of the present disclosure facilitates the manufacture of said cutting device and guarantees its quality, avoiding failures that increase the risks of ophthalmological surgery performed with the mentioned cutting device.
