Abstract

The present invention refers to an assisted ventilation method and device to obtain an air-oxygen mixture by means of an assisted ventilation device that has an inspiration circuit connected to a source of air and oxygen, an exhalation circuit connected to the source of air and a patient circuit connected to the inspiration circuit and the exhalation circuit. In the present method, a target air and oxygen concentration and an inspiration time are established, air and oxygen flow passage times are generated from the established air-oxygen concentration and inspiration time, the flow is controlled of air and oxygen according to the passage times of the air-oxygen flow by means of actuators arranged in the inspiration circuit. Said inspiration time corresponds to the sum of the air-oxygen flow passage times of the actuators arranged in the inspiration circuit.
