Abstract

RESUMEN En la presente se describen composiciones herbicidas que contienen una cantidad herbicidamente eficaz de (a) un herbicida de ácido piridincarboxílico o un N-óxido, sal o éster agrícolamente aceptable de este y (b) un inhibidor de fitoeno desaturasa (PDS), un inhibidor de síntesis de ácido graso de cadena muy larga (VLCFA), o una mezcla de estos. También se describen en la presente métodos para controlar la vegetación no deseable que comprenden aplicar a la vegetación o a un área adyacente a la vegetación o aplicar al suelo o agua para evitar la emergencia o crecimiento de vegetación (a) un herbicida de ácido piridincarboxílico o N-óxido, sal o éster agrícolamente aceptable de este y (b) un inhibidor de fitoeno desaturasa (PDS), un inhibidor de síntesis de ácido graso de cadena muy larga (VLCFA) o una mezcla de estos, en donde (a) y (b) se agregan cada uno en una cantidad suficiente para proporcionar un efecto herbicida.
